Recently updated to 2.4Ghz NIC on both my PC and UNRAID system
Thanks for your help! I did two things to fix the issue and just completed a successful backup that took several hours. The best part? Not a single network disconnect during the entire process. Here’s what I did: 1. Powered the 2.5 GHz switch on and off (it’s not an expensive switch). 2. Disabled the LAN interface in the BIOS of my PC since I'm using a secondary network card. Note: I made no changes to my UNRAID server. I'm not sure which one resolved the problem, but everything’s working smoothly now. Thanks again! re: Backup task completed successfully - Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office notification from New_Master 2024-09-01T12:34:22:304-04:00 34036 I00000000: ----- 2024-09-01T12:34:22:304-04:00 34036 I00000000: Acronis True Image Demon started. [Plugin] CA Fix Common Problems
Thank you!.. …it seems my 1tb drive in the unassigned device plug-in is reiserFS as well, please tell me how I may reformat that drive to XFS… it is empty and not currently in use… …even after enabling destructive mode, I do not see a way to change the file system or format it

[Plugin] CA Fix Common Problems
Hi, additional assistance please…. I have been following along with the File System Conversion doc to convert some of my drives from ReiserFS to XFS, and so far so good… My last drive to convert is my cache drive. It is relatively small (1TB) compared with my array disks1-6.. since the standard procedure includes swapping drives, I don’t want to end up with a big disk in the cache position and the small 1TB drive in the disk 1-6 position.. there is very little data on my cache drive, probably old VM images, etc. that I don’t even want/need anymore.. Please tell me the best way to continue…? I’d like to keep the 1TB drive as my cache drive… Thank you!, Reuben

Re: Format XFS on replacement drive / Convert from RFS to XFS (discussion only)
Just a couple of suggestions from the penny section on the “File System Conversion” doc. (Which is great, thank you!) Because of what I put in the red rectangle makes what’s in the green rectangle a little confusing since the file system is not shown, it’s now set to auto…. Also, when you talk about the checkbox for parity and formatting, you may want to mention it’s a bit obscured at the bottom of the page..

[Plugin] CA Fix Common Problems
Hi, assistance please…. I must’ve had a missed placed slash when doing the rsync step in the xfs conversion process which I’m in the middle of right now…. but I noticed my disk6 (first xfs converted disk) has a folder in the root directory named “disk6”, which of course is incorrect - may I just move everything from this disk6 directory into the parent root using the move command from an sh prompt (my), or do I need to use something like Krusader? I certainly want to continue to preserve parity.. thank you!

Good afternoon, fyi, lately starting the application would never return as completed. I needed to uninstall and reinstall "[Plugin] CA Fix Common Problems", in case anyone is experiencing this same issue where you click to run and it doesn't return. Reuben
