  1. Thank you!.. …it seems my 1tb drive in the unassigned device plug-in is reiserFS as well, please tell me how I may reformat that drive to XFS… it is empty and not currently in use… …even after enabling destructive mode, I do not see a way to change the file system or format it
  2. Hi, additional assistance please…. I have been following along with the File System Conversion doc to convert some of my drives from ReiserFS to XFS, and so far so good… My last drive to convert is my cache drive. It is relatively small (1TB) compared with my array disks1-6.. since the standard procedure includes swapping drives, I don’t want to end up with a big disk in the cache position and the small 1TB drive in the disk 1-6 position.. there is very little data on my cache drive, probably old VM images, etc. that I don’t even want/need anymore.. Please tell me the best way to continue…? I’d like to keep the 1TB drive as my cache drive… Thank you!, Reuben
  3. Just a couple of suggestions from the penny section on the “File System Conversion” doc. (Which is great, thank you!) Because of what I put in the red rectangle makes what’s in the green rectangle a little confusing since the file system is not shown, it’s now set to auto…. Also, when you talk about the checkbox for parity and formatting, you may want to mention it’s a bit obscured at the bottom of the page..
  4. Hi, assistance please…. I must’ve had a missed placed slash when doing the rsync step in the xfs conversion process which I’m in the middle of right now…. but I noticed my disk6 (first xfs converted disk) has a folder in the root directory named “disk6”, which of course is incorrect - may I just move everything from this disk6 directory into the parent root using the move command from an sh prompt (my), or do I need to use something like Krusader? I certainly want to continue to preserve parity.. thank you!
  5. I have now re-booted numerous times and have not seen the issue. thank you! Reuben
  6. Interesting - good looking out... have a great day bro!
  7. Maybe Plug-ins being turned on in general?
  8. Just another .02 cents here - are all the people reporting the issue using plug-ins? I use the unassigned drive plug-in among others.... It may be a coincidence, but after my 1st crash I restarted many times (w/out plug-in support from the boot gui) and never saw the error or crash at boot. I've only seen the crash on boot when regular full startup (w/plugins) happens.
  9. That's a little comforting to know that I probably don't have failing hardware.. thank you FredG89. -Reuben
  10. Thank you so much, it happened again - this is the screen shot... Maybe just a coincidence, but this has only happened since 6.8.1. -Reuben
  11. Sorry, it does not boot at times... the screen ends on something about a process being killed... I think I saw something about Thunderbolt.. Thank You! Reuben
  12. Can you please exam the attached log and tell me what you think may be going on? thank you, Reuben unraid-nas-diagnostics-20200122-0454.zip
  13. Recently I updated plug-ins and now I can’t boot my system unless I boot to without plug-in support , please tell me how can I disable a certain plug-in before I start and leave all the other plug-ins enabled?? I’m using unraid 6.8.1, and I believe the plug-in that caused the issue was the unassigned devices plugin...
  14. Good afternoon, fyi, lately starting the application would never return as completed. I needed to uninstall and reinstall "[Plugin] CA Fix Common Problems", in case anyone is experiencing this same issue where you click to run and it doesn't return. Reuben
  15. OK, thank you just the same - I'll do that. I appreciate your help.

  19. Hi, I have the below statements in my /boot/config/go file. I'm pretty sure (line #4) '/boot/unmenu/uu' is an OLD tool I used. Can that line, or any other line (you see here that is depreciated) be removed from the /boot/config/go file? What about /usr/local/sbin/emhttp &" and cd /boot/packages && find . -name '*.auto_install' -type f -print | sort | xargs -n1 sh -c? Are these necessary? (the /boot/unmenu/ and /boot/packages directories do not exist in my current setup) Thank you, -Reuben /boot/config/go: #!/bin/bash # Start the Management Utility /usr/local/sbin/emhttp & /boot/unmenu/uu cd /boot/packages && find . -name '*.auto_install' -type f -print | sort | xargs -n1 sh -c
