  1. I got the same issue since the last update: nextcloud doesn't start and shows the log info "/entrypoint.sh: 111: cannot create /usr/local/etc/php/conf.d/redis-session.ini: Permission denied" I removed the two entries REDIS_HOST and REDIS_HOST_PORT from the template and nextcloud started again but without redis. Could you please explain what "But redis is still in nextcloud config" means? Have you configured redis in one of the php files? Thanks and regards!
  2. I never got it running. And I tried everything: ipvlan, blacklisting i915, install Intel-GPU-Top, with Plex docker an without, HDMI dummy plug, and a thousand other tips. The hardware was totally fine because I had no issues with Windows, Truenas scale, proxmox, batocera, etc. In the end I sold the NUC (NUC 11 i5) and switch to a Ryzen based Mini-PC. As of today I have 72 days uptime without any issues. It seems like Unraid and Intel integrated graphics are not a good combination.
  3. This container does exactly what I want. The script on the host would also work, but I prefer to keep my containers seperate from the host. Thank you all for your help! Appreciate it! 👍
  4. Yes, you're right. Snapshot replication would do the trick and be a great improvement. In my opinion Unraid really lacks this feature compared to truenas, synology, qnap, etc.
  5. Dear knex666, I have an issue with the background tasks and cron. The "offical" way to run cron in docker seems to be starting a second container with the entrypoint /cron.sh (Link). But your template uses the user 99:100 for unraid instead of the standard nextcloud user 33 (=www-data). This leads to the error "crond: can't set groups: Operation not permitted" in the second container and the cronjob doesn't work. When I start both containers without --user 99:100 everything is fine. Do you have an idea how I can get this working with the unraid standard user 99? Thank you for your help! Sebastian
  6. I'd really like to see an integrated backup solution for appdata, VMs and shares. And it should not be necessary to stop the containers and VMs for it.
  7. You could try to remove the Unraid br0 network in the GUI and instead create a docker macvlan through the commandline or portainer.
  8. Short feedback. I bought a HDMI dummy plug and installed the Intel GPU TOP plugin. This seems to do the trick. I have now 15 days without crash. Thank you for pointing me to the integrated graphics.
  9. Hello Jorge, thanks for your answer. I'll give it a try. To be sure to blacklist the driver correctly: - I generate a new file /boot/config/modprobe.d/i915.conf - then put the line "blacklist i915" in it - install the Intel GPU TOP plugin Is this correct?
  10. Hi all, my Unraid drives me crazy and I can't figure out where the problem is. It crashes randomly every day - sometimes in the morning, somethimes in the evening. What have I tried to find the problem: - swaped the SSD - swaped the RAM - tried another NIC - tried nearly every BIOS setting - tried macvlan and ipvlan for Docker - get rid of unnecessary Dockers and VMs - swaped the complete NUC to a new one So I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware issue. And also when I install plain Ubuntu on the system with some docker container everything runs fine. Any advice what the problem can be? The last crash was around 20:00 Dec13. Thanks in advance Sebastian syslog-192.168.1.20.log nuc-diagnostics-20221213-2107.zip
  11. Thanks for your reply. Syslog server is running and the diagnostics attached. nuc-diagnostics-20220927-0008.zip
  12. Hi All, I have kind of a strange problem and could need some help. My System is an Intel NUC 11 (i5-1135G7) with 1 NVME SSD (no parity) and 32GB RAM running Unraid 6.11rc5. I use some dockers (openHAB, duplicati, pihole, etc.) an one Linux VM. When I start the system in headless mode the system freezes after a couple of days without any obvious reason and I need to do a hard reset. Normaly I would say it's a hardware issue. But when I start Unraid with GUI the system runs fine. So the hardware should be fine, too. Has anybody an idea what's the reason for this behaviour? Perhaps any power saving mode of Intel 11th Gen CPUs Unraid can't handle? I appreciate every help! Thanks!
