[Plugin] Appdata.Backup
Hi, I think I'm missing something. Installed and backed-up yesterday, several times. I just tried to restore Nginx but it didn't happen, although I saw an approval for succesful operation. It'd seem that it got restored in the wrong place/path ( as says debug log: ) [12.08.2024 22:25:24][debug][Main] Final tar command: tar -C '/mnt/user/Private/appdata-backup/' -x -f '/mnt/user/Private/appdata-backup/ab_20240811_113818/Nginx-Proxy-Manager-Official.tar.gz' -z ( it restores into the "backup destination" folder, not into the "original" folder ) Did I miss a setting? EDIT: geee foolish me! I selected the "source" folder in the field of the destination 🤦♂️

udma crc error count
I had the same problem for a month or two, ever since I moved from FreeNAS. Just found out that's due to a missmach for the controller. On the drive's configuration page, it was set to "Auto". I looked and set up the correct company ( Marvell, for my old Toshiba drives ) and that fixed the errors. ** writing at Google's top results for "Unraid UDMA error". You are very welcome, good fellows.

I think I've found a bug related to "unread notifications" and network-interface usage
Hi everyone, I'm pretty new with Unraid and really enjoying the software! Got lots of help from past discussiont in the forume the past month... Thanks evetyone! This message is gonna be a bit of a mess 'cause I have many information about the occurance I'm expericencing. I think I've found a bug, but would like to see if I'm the only one experiencing the issue: The "network load" bar in the dashboard is always sending stuff. This is very unusual to me, since I'm working in Cybersecurity and that's a real good indication for infection. So, after a ( not so-) little heart attack, I started digging: I first noticed it about a week ago with an older vertion ( 6.10.X ) and it's still happening with 6.11.1. I have made sure it's not an application or a service using some basic bash commands, before it occured to me that the hard-working errors-counter is probably the most unusual thing with my server. It's funny but I'm getting many "udma crc error count" notifications. about 2 per minute. That's making the errors counter at the top right to grow, and after a few hours, it starts to use the outbound interface for some reason. With 200 notifications I'm reaching about 500-600Kbps peaks and it may raise to 10Mbps for 2000. I do not know if that's happening 24/7 or only when I'm logged-in to the GUI ( so, if I close the GUI, will it still move that much data? ) YES, I know I can disable the check -- but should an error-list be sent every 2 seconds? Has anyone heard of anything like it? Do you think that's the expected behaviour for the process? It's kinda hard to google something like that haha Attaching some pictures of the usage, diagnostics before and after clearing the notifications feed and a video to show the problem More about the hardware and the UDMA error itself: - AGAIN, am not looking for help with the UDMA errors... the disks will be replaced in the future. I am merely reporting a problem consists of using the interface too much ( which could get it to 100% CPU ). - I'm just using several old drives i had laying around, just for proof-of-concept. These are 1*WD and 2*Toshiba 640GB, 2.5" that have arrived long ago with laptops that have died by now. One of the WD is a parity drive. So, I am not expecting anything from them for the long run - BUT they are working fine! they are running for a month on about 50% capacity and the weekly-paritiy-check found no problems so-far. - The chances that they ALL die at-once is really small so that's fine untill I could gey my hands on some old server from work. This is enough for my current needs. - I'm not asking for help solving the problem -- It is not related to any SATA-cable or port, since the disks used to be connectec to my mobo but then I installed a RAID card ( mostly for expansion ), so I have already replaced the entire infrastracture... The problem is probably with the disks, and as I said, they will be replaced in some time. Thank you so very much, again. I'd love to suply more diagnostics and details, if needed. 2022-10-16_11-08-26.mkv After clearing logs - lilnasx-diagnostics-20221016-1110.zip Before clearing log -lilnasx-diagnostics-20221016-1104.zip
