  1. As of current I have one VM made, but it's not running. and hasn't ran in a couple months. I'll just reboot and see if it comes back again. And then try the swap file thing. Thanks for the reply!!
  2. Greetings, I am looking for some help to look through my diagnostic file and see if they can help point me to where or why I got an "Out of memory errors detected on your server". It looks like the error came through at 4:30 in the morning, which as far as I can tell/remember nothing is scheduled right at 4:30am. I hadn't really messed with anything on my server for several days prior to the error, so I don't believe I changed anything. Also my memory sits right around 50-60% usage, assuming it's talking about ram when it comes to "memory". Any help would be great. I'm ok marking this up to a random fluke too, but just wanted to have someone that might know what to look for take a look. Thanks!! server-diagnostics-20231030-0743.zip
  3. I had some disk issues that I believe I narrowed down to spin down. I had a disk that I would spin down that was only my media library, so it wasn't used all that often. But also in a sweep of frustration I also swapped out the SATA cables as I was using those thin cables that are bound together, so somewhere between the cables and turning off spin down, the errors have gone away.
  4. OOOooooooh, I never thought about them putting extra spaces in there. I may have to revisit this. Ironically I've really become fond of using discord for my notifications, as that is seeming to become more supported on other devices, so everything comes to one chat room. But thanks on the heads up on the password, I'll give it a try again.
  5. I'm going to drop some head pounding, time sucking, information that has taken me the better part of 2 days to figure out, and every time I went searching this thread kept coming up so I feel this may be the best place to drop it for any future poor soul that tries to figure it out. I have been trying to figure out why my 10th gen Intel Celeron Elkhart Lake J6413 would not show the QSV options. Even though in handbrakes activity screen it says "qsv is available on this system", I went down every rabbit hole, every random thread I could find. I followed all the things in this thread even though I'm running 6.11.5 and some of the things weren't needed. I think the main issue I was running into was the fact that my CPU/GPU only supports low power mode (according to the jellyfin documentation). Which when I was running my server off of an i7-8700T, I never had a single issue, and the QSV options just came up. When I was on the handbrake site looking at the QSV documentation, https://handbrake.fr/docs/en/latest/technical/video-qsv.html There was a link to a github "Known Issues and Limitations" for intel media drivers. https://github.com/intel/media-driver#known-issues-and-limitations This got me trying to put "options i915 enable_guc=2" in all the locations the "i915.conf" file may live. What ended up working for me was putting "options i915 enable_guc=2" in the /boot/config/modprobe.d/i915.conf. This does copy down to the /etc/modprobe.d/i915.conf on reboot. I hope this can help anyone in the future if you come upon this.
  6. Oh one other thing I'll add, I do know app passwords works for me on other devices as my pfsense router uses it and my synology NAS uses it.
  7. Ok so bunch more trying things with still no luck. I dropped my DNS resolver I dropped my VPN I changed DNS to 8.8.8.8 I redid an app password, dropped it into a text file to make sure there were no spaces or other weird things being copied in I tried 465 and 587 in all configurations I can ping smtp.gmail.com and get a respond I tried yahoo email with no success I'm out of ideas to try. 🤷‍♂️ I will say, the only time I get a different response than "No reply from mail server" is when I trying 587 and Use STARTTLS is NO. I still get the error "Cannot open smtp.gmail.com:587", while that doesn't fix anything, at least it's some sort of different response. Thanks for the input and I'll keep poking around and see if I find anything else.
  8. I dropped the password into a text file to look at it first, no extra spaces or characters.
  9. Still no luck. I tried swapping to a different gmail account to factor that varible out. Even more I tried a yahoo account still with no luck, with and without the @yahoo.com. But when I ping the yahoo server I get nothing back, the plot thickens. 🤔 Other things I've tried, currently my server is behind a VPN, I dropped that and still no luck. About the only other thing I can try is to take down my nextDNS resolver, and see if that has anything to do with it.
  10. I was just trying that, yes i can. Is there a way of pinging specific ports at smtp.gmail.com?
  11. Greetings all, I have been pounding my head on the wall trying to get gmail notifications to work with no luck. I feel I have tried every combination avalible to try and log in. I have 2FA on, I'm using a new mail app password, I have tried 465 and 587 port, I have tried the login with and without the @gmail.com. I feel I'm missing something stupid, but I keep getting the error of "No reply from mail server". Can anyone give me some other ideas to look at, maybe a setting I'm missing in google or something. Any help would be great, thanks!!
