  1. Yeah. I just tried to install, and there are no images to pull in! This repo is dead, then?
  2. I am coming from Windows, and I am used to using Jdownloader to manage browser downloads. In the Windows version of Jdownloader, I was able to select my network drives from the dropdown menu. In Fedora, I don't see such option: I've tried both the flatpak and snap versions of JDownloader. How do I add my network drives to JDownloader? Is there a different app I can use to download directly from my browser to my Unraid network shared drives? And no. I'm not going to download to my PC and then move the files to the network drive afterwards. Jdownloader (or similar program) should work the same as it did in Windows.
  3. I just switched over to Fedora, and I have no idea how to mount my Unraid shares. Windows made it really straightforward, Linux, as usual, is not. How do I add my shares to my Fedora PC? I don’t see any option to add my credentials: Double clicking just opens an empty folder
  4. I can't get RustDesk to work with computers outside my local network. I followed this guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/unRAID/comments/1e9syfu/setting_up_rustdesk_with_docker_image/ I am able to remote control computers on my local network, but I can't use an outside computer to control one of my local computers. I want to be able to use my laptop to control my main PC when I am away from home. My Unraid docker settings: My router firewall settings: What am I doing wrong? What do I need to change?
  5. As I was taking out the SATA cable for one of my drives, the pins stripped out. Unfortunately, this turned out to be my parity drive. I don't have a replacement drive that I can just pop in. However, one of the current drives in my array is empty. So I want to take this empty drive and use that as the new parity drive. How do I do that? Would I first need to follow the Shrink Array guide? But my concern would be when I go set up a New Config: will that make any parity data unrecoverable? After that, I could just pop in this drive and assign as my "new" parity drive, correct?
  6. Because I don't have a replacement drive... So what would you do then?
  7. I do; that's how I'm able to move stuff from the dead drive into a different drive. My Disk 1 is dead, yet I'm able to move contents from Disk 1 to another drive using Unbalanced. Pretty neat. Unless I'm doing something wrong?
  8. I am trying to move files from a failed/dead drive. The Plan screen doesn't seem to be doing anything; the top right has a wheel that is spinning, but I don't really see any progress. How long does this step usually take? The dead drive has about 17TBs of data on it. Do I just need to wait it out? Edit: Yeah, it just took a while to complete, ~30 mins
  9. I was cleaning my PC, and my dumbass snapped off the SATA pins on one of my HDDs by jamming in the wire too hard. I don't have my array running, the HDD is broken, and I don't have a replacement drive. So how do I recover the data on the drive? I think I have to follow the following procedures: Removing data disk(s) Reset the array configuration I am wary since the New Config screen says to not use it to rebuild a failed drive. Are these the correct steps I should follow? All the "shrink array" steps seem to only work when the array is up and running with the working drive, and it seems I need to follow the above procedures to get my array back up without losing data. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Edit: So I restarted the array. I am planning to follow SpaceInvader1's tutorial on how to shrink the array by use Unbalance. I assume this video is still relevant even if it's a couple years old? Edit 2: I am trying to move files from the failed/dead drive using Unbalanced. 10. I had some trouble setting up DelugeVPN on my Unraid server with TorGuard, so I figured this short tutorial may come in handy to some of you. Most of my "tutorial" is linking to other guides, but it at least saves you the trouble of having to look for the links yourself. Follow Spaceinvader One's YouTube video. Link here: Select "custom" when from the dropdown menu when selecting VPN provider Follow TRaSH Guides' TorGuard setup guide to setup port forwarding and get the correct .ovpn or .conf files. Link here: https://trash-guides.info/Misc/How-to-setup-Torguard-for-port-forwarding/ NOTE: I only got DelugeVPN working when I used Wireguard; I could not get it to work with OpenVPN. I am not sure why. I am not sure if a blocklist is needed, but I used this blocklist that I randomly found through Reddit: https://github.com/Naunter/BT_BlockLists/ And that's pretty much it! Even though Spaceinvader One's video is a bit old, I still got it to run. That should be your guide with only the TRaSH Guides link as the main difference. Hope this helps someone out. Thanks!
