  1. All good now. Looks like i didn't exchang the root public key between the servers first. so, on both servers, i generated ssh keys, and i exchanged it from on to the other. Now remote buddy backup is working. thanks,
  2. I was able to configure my local ZFS backups and it's all running great now! So, now, i want to be able to zfs remote to my remote unraid backup server. I've followed the instruction for the remote backup. I exchange the buddy's public keys, but when i click "test connection", i get the following message. Failed: Host key verification failed. SSH is enabled on both unraid servers. I have also rebooted each server just in case. Anyone had the same issue? thanks, Marty
  3. I'm also having the same error..
  4. Thanks for the reply! In my case I'm not sure it's going to work. For now, i'm doing auto snapshots of my cache drive (appdata/domains/etc..) that triggers the backup to a zfs drive (local) in my array. So I have the snapshots on both the cache dataset and on the array drive dataset. Pruning is fine on the cache dataset, but doesn't seem to work on the array drive dataset which is my local destination. Is that still pruned according to the "buddy's backup" retention section, even if it's local? thanks,
  5. I have installed the pluggin yesterday and so far it's great to automate zfs snaps and replication. One suggestion. It seems that the snaps on the destination are not getting pruned like they are at the source. It would be nice to have an option to be able to get the snaps pruned at the destination as well. Also, i believe there is a bug where daily snaps are taken on the same day, 15min. appart. I've also seen some multi weekly and montly snaps on the same day for some data sets. good work! thanks,
  6. Have you tried using another browser to access the GUI, or clear the cache of your browser and restart. Just to clear that out.
  7. Hi Jorge, thanks for the reply! Not sure what should be connected to ata5. Like i said, I only have 4 sata ports on this motherboard. Currently using only port 1-2 with 2 SSDs. Would ata5 be a port sata #5? thanks, Marty
  8. Hi my fellow UnRAIDers. About a week ago, i had a problem with my primary unraid server. The Motherboard would not post anymore. After some tests, i decided to replace the motherboard and CPU. Since the replacement, things are looking good, but i get some warnings at boot. I don't get these warnings on my other unraid backup server. ---- This one seems to be related to my LSI HBA card (01:00.0), but i can see all my drives in my array and they are all good. No errors. ---- I did a parity test which was good. Also ran s.m.a.r.t test on all the drive. no errors. Apr 14 18:34:18 unRAID kernel: pci 0000:01:00.0: BAR 9: failed to assign [mem size 0x00400000 64bit] Apr 14 18:34:18 unRAID kernel: pci 0000:01:00.0: BAR 7: failed to assign [mem size 0x00040000 64bit] ---- This one seems to point to an ata, i assume sata? But i only have 4 sata ports on the motherboard (not counting the LSI) ---- I currently have 2 ssd connected in 2 of the 4 ports and both are good Apr 14 18:34:18 unRAID kernel: ata5: failed to resume link (SControl 0) So, i was wondering if there is something i can do to fix this. After searching the web and this forum, I haven't been able to find anything conclusive. Including my logs as well. Cheers, Marty unraid-diagnostics-20250414-2002.zip
