So after deleting one plugin after another until speed came up I now suspect the dynamix system stats being responsible for the lags. Since I deleted it, everything is blazing fast again :) Thank you for your assistance 👍

Sorry for my late reply, I had to find a good time to reboot the server and start in safe mode. While in safe mode, everything is by far more responsive. So maybe it has something to do with the plugins I installed?

Hi, today i switched from an AMD Ryzen 5900X to an Intel i5-12400 with iGPU. I installed Intel GPU top and GPU statistics plugin. Unfortunately it doesn't show any GPU stats. Instead it says "GPU not available bound to VFIO or inuse in a VM." This is strange because VMs are disabled and the GPU is NOT bound to VFIO Any suggestions on how to further investigate this issue is greatly appreciated. diagnostics-20250804-1009.zip #EDIT I ignored the message and used the iGPU in jellyfin. Seems to work. But I have to manually expand it on the Dashboard and after one second it automatically closes again. So for a brief second I see this: ... and one second later this: So I guess it is just a displaying issue and nothing wrong with my unraid ;)

Hello everyone, I've noticed that my system feels a bit sluggish compared to others. For example, when following videos from @SpaceInvaderOne, his Unraid GUI seems noticeably more responsive — pages load quickly, whereas mine often takes a few seconds to switch screens. This happens even when no Docker containers or VMs are running. Starting or stopping the array doesn't seem to make a difference. I experienced the same behavior with my previous Ryzen 9 5900X system and now again with my i5-12400 and 32 GB of RAM. Unless others are doing some video-editing-wizardry, I suspect my system is underperforming — or maybe I’m just being impatient 😅 Any tips on how to investigate or optimize this would be greatly appreciated! diagnostics-20250804-1009.zip

Well, I got it There was a tiny difference in the name of the linked directory: /AgentDVR/Media/WebServerRoot/Media/ /agent/Media/WebServerRoot/Media/ Thanks for your help @strike, very much appreciated!

Hi there, I'm puzzled. Shurely I overlook something, but I can't see the solution and seek your help. My AgentDVR Container should store recordings on a share on my cache/array but it keeps filling up the docker space. This is the linked share for the docker container AgendDVR is supposed to write into the share But the share remains empty and the docker image file keeps filling up Can someone point me in the right direction?

Danke @razrone fürs Teilen deiner Erkenntnisse. Was ich jedoch nicht verstehenist, wieso du mit einem Ubuntu Stick nicht auch höhere C-states erreichen konntest. Sicher, dass es nur der Realtek Treiber in unraid war?

Kurzes Update. Ich habe mein System nun ohne GPU zum laufen bekommen. Der Trick war, nicht nur im BIOS „GPU-device=ignore“ zu setzen, sondern beim Booten die weiße LED auf dem Board lange genug zu ignorieren. Diese zeigt im POST zwar an, dass keine Grafikkarte verbaut ist, geht aber nach einiger Zeit wieder aus und dann bootet das System auch. Die Einsparung liegt tatsächlich bei ~10W, eher bis zu 15W. Leider bleibt es in Powertop bei C2. C3 wird mir nicht angezeigt. Ich frage mich, was es noch sein kann? Ich habe keine PCIe Karten gesteckt. Es ist nur die CPU (5900x) und das Board (MSI B550 Gaming) mit den drei SATA Platten und zwei nvme. hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich der Sache weiter auf den Grund gehen kann?

Meinst du nicht? Ich erhoffe mir schon ca. -10W ohne GPU.

Hallo, ich greife diesen Thread einmal auf. Ich bin neu mit unraid und versuche meinen Stromverbrauch etwas zu reduzieren. Mein System: - MSI B550 Pro Gaming - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X - 2x 512GB NVME Cache - 2x 16TB HDD im Array - 1x 256GB Sata SSD - 400W bequiet Straight Power - NVIDIA GT710 - ~15 Docker - 0 VM Ich bin durch diesen Thread und den kompletten Powertop Thread gelesen (ja, alle38 Seiten). Klar, Powertop auto-tune, im BIOS C-States aktiviert, nicht benötigte Peripherie (z.B. Audio) abgestellt, etc. pp. Ich komme damit auf einen Idle-Stromverbrauch von ca. 70W mit unraid: - CPU Lüfter an - Array im Spindown - 1x120mm Gehäuselüfter an Da ich in Powertop nur C1 und C2 sehe, gehe ich davon aus, dass die GT710 mein System davon abhält in C3 (aka C6) zu kommen. Also soll sie raus, da ich keine GPU benötige. Leichter gesagt, als getan Baue ich die GPU aus, bootet mein Board nicht. Auch nicht, wenn ich im BIOS "GPU Detection = Ignore" setze. Habe versuchsweise einen Bildschirm an den HDMI Ausgang vom Board angestöpselt, bringt aber auch nichts. Nun zu meinen Fragen: a) Könnt ihr mir helfen, die GPU in C3 zu bringen (sofern das bei einer 10 Jahre alten Karte überhaupt geht)? b) Könnt ihr mir helfen das System headless, also ohne GPU zu booten (sofern mit unraid möglich)? c) Gibt es weitere Tipps? BTW: Ich habe auch überlegt Komponenten aus meinem Hauptrechner mit einem B450 Board und einem Ryzen 5600G mit aGPU zu tauschen. Testweise beide mal mit einem Ubuntu Stick gebootet und den Stromverbrauch gemessen. - Server idlet bei ~40W ohne angeschlossene HDDs und erreicht nur C2 - Hauptrechner idlet bei ~25W (1x NVME, 1x CPU Lüfter, 1x Gehäuselüfter) und kommt auf C3
