(Solved) After upgrade 7.2.4 -> 7.2.5 GUI does not want to start
When I attempt to boot into Safe Mode with GUI, i briefly get a login prompt, then the screen goes blank and all I get is a blinking cursor. Normal bootup works, and I can login to terminal locally (with a monitor connected), but the GUI is inaccessible from my primary desktop machine. Edit: Out of the blue, the GUI started working again. I quickly took this opportunity to rollback via Tools > Downgrade OS.

How do I increase the size of the docker image?
As of Unraid v7: 1. Go to the Docker tab, then Stop All containers. 2. Go to the Settings tab, then select "Docker". 3. Change "Enable Docker" to "No". This stops the Docker service. 4. The "Docker vDisk size" option should now become available. 5. Increase this to your desired volume size (ie: 30GB). When you're done, change "Enable Docker" back to "Yes", then start your containers again.

And... I'm Back.
Welcome. I just landed here myself, though first time Unraid user. I've only seen version 7, but its great so far. Only a few more hours days ☠️ until everything is moved over. Since your focus is on Plex, I'll share this plugin I came across yesterday. Sounds like a nice piece of kit to save some watts and make things faster. Tips: - Dont forget the ECC memory. I didn't buy any, but it'll be fineee. 👀 - Consider an nvme cache pool. Its nice. The mover seems pretty good at moving stuff. - Dark mode can be found under Settings > Display > Dynamix color theme .

Unable to login to unraid connect from server.
I was able to resolve the issue by logging out of both https://account.unraid.net and https://connect.myunraid.net, then trying again by following the link within the nas dashboard -- http://tower.local.

New user, new home NAS
New user here, and yesterday I built my first home NAS (mostly out of an old gaming PC), so I'm nerding out a bit. It's not server-grade, but I'm really happy with its performance and how easy it was to install Unraid. Its got dual-parity, 2.5Gbps networking, nvme drives for cache and UPS backup. Specs: - Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite (am4 motherboard) - 2.5Gbps NIC - Ryzen 7 3700X (8-core cpu) - Gigabyte GTX 1660 (nvenc codec for plex transcodes) - G.Skill 32GB DDR4 (sadly this is not ECC memory) - x2 1TB nVME (cache drives in RAID-1 zfs) - x2 8TB Ironwolf 7200rpm (parity drives) - x1 8TB Ironwolf 7200rpm + x2 6TB WDRed 7200rpm (data drives in zfs) - Cyberpower 1500VA/1000W UPS I plan on setting up the following: - plex for streaming - move my Pihole currently running off a raspberry pi, to my new NAS - immich for google-like photos experience - tailscale for remote access One thing I'm not clear on -- power failures. I bought a UPS because I get occasional (albeit brief), power spikes/outages in my area. Can I have my NAS box automatically and safely shutdown before battery power runs out, in the event of a longer power outage? The UPS does have ethernet and USB ports -- how do I get Unraid and my UPS talking? Right now I've got about 1 hour remaining on my parity-sync -- looking forward to continuing the build.
