Hello, im using this topic so i don't have to start a new one. I would like to avoid FUSE with Plex. However, as soon as i change /mnt/USER/appdata/plex to /mnt/CACHE/appdata/plex, Plex no longer starts up properly. Appdata is located on Cache only on my system. Any ideas? Regards

Hey, ich löse das Thema mit PCI Erweiterungen. Es gibt ja selten Boards mit mehr SATA Ports. Oder sie sind sehr teuer.

No. Yes. Yes. I don't have any shared folders that are tiered or moved from cache to array. Cache-only and array-only shares. I don't have any VMs or scripts (yet). I've just gone through all the Docker templates. All paths point to /mnt/user/... EDIT: Rebooted Unraid and error is gone... Thanks for your help.

Hello, the server has been up and running for four days. I first configured the cache and array and then set up the shares. I have no idea how this could have happened. I then installed all the Docker containers. I have now set the affected shares to cache -> array and moved the folders using the mover. In the end, I changed everything back. Now the cache is clean and only contains the 4 shares that should be there. However, the error is still there. Attached is a new report. nzaunraid01-diagnostics-20251103-1254.zip

Unfortunately, I cannot identify this share. I changed the docker template from /mnt/cache/... to /mnt/user/... Wrong appdata folder disappears with this step. Yes. Message persists. I would understand that with the mover if I had a share with second storage. But in my case, the shares are either only on cache or only on array.

Sorry, but what do you mean by “(1) Share”? I don't have any duplicate shares. I found an appdata config that pointed to “cache.” I fixed that. Unfortunately, the error is still there. What I don't understand is why the “media-*” shares are located on the cache pool. There are only a few folders/files in there.

Danke an euch beide. Das hat mir schon mal sehr weitergeholfen. Deinen Artikel hab ich vor ein paar Tagen auch schon gesehen. Ich bin aktuell bei dieser Konfig: Jonsbo N5 - Natürlich etwas drüber aber dafür breche ich mir nicht die Finger beim verkabeln Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR4 i3-14100t oder i5-14400t - denke i3 reicht aber bei dem geringen Preisunterschied eher der i5 noctua NH-U12S redux be quiet! Pure Power 12M 550W 3-4x 8TB HDD / 120GB NVMe / 1,92TB SSD / 2x 32GB DDR4 2400T Reg ECC (sofern es geht) - Hab ich ja schon Kleinteile? Vergesse ich gerade spezielle Kabel/Adapter/Lüfter? Dann bin ich bei ca. 550-600€ und hab noch genug Luft für Erweiterungen. Board find ich gut da hier auch schon genug Diskussionen und Lösungsansätze in deinem Beitrag sind. Andere Komponenten von k3vberts Sig abgeschaut. Da weiß ich das die Maße passen :) Für die Umsetzung warte ich noch bis zum Black Friday. Vielleicht gibts da noch nen Schnapper. Grüße nzane

Hallo zusammen, meine TS-451+ (Celeron Quad-Core 2,0 GHz / 16GB RAM / 4x 8TB WD Red) kommt langsam in die Jahre. Jetzt habe ich mich dazu entschieden Unraid eine Chance zu geben und testete alles. Hab dafür die vorhandene QNAP genutzt. Bin noch am Aufbau aber aktuell laufen folgende Container: Plex / Tautulli Arrstack (3x Radarr, Sonarr, Lidarr, Bazarr, Prowlarr, Overseer, sabnzbd) Pi-hole Heimdall Zukünftig noch: SWAG (oder Alternative) vaultwarden Nextcloud ... Alleine die laufenden Docker bringen meine CPU gut an die Grenze und wenn dann noch nen Stream + Unpack von Files läuft dann geht gefühlt gar nichts mehr. Es muss also was neues her. Und bei Unraid bleibe ich auch. Hab auch schon das große Bundle gekauft. Werde ich zwar nie ausreizen aber hab es eher als "Spende" für das Projekt betrachtet :) Hardware am liebsten DIY aber ich bin seit Jahren aus der Hardwareszene raus (und auch da eher Gamingrechner also nicht auf Strom und viele SATA Anschlüsse etc geachtet.) und je mehr ich mich einlese desto verwirrter bin ich. Usecase: Plex / Streaming / Transcoding (max. 4-5 User remote (Static IP / 50MBit/s Upload)) Temporär Transcoding von Medien in x265 Ein paar zusätzliche Docker / "nichts wildes" Vorhandene Hardware (muss nicht genutzt werden aber hab ich halt da): 12x 8TB WD Red 1x 6TB WD Red 4x 4TB WD Red 10x 1,92TB SATA SSD 2x 120GB M.2 NVMe 256GB DDR4 ECC RAM (32GB Riegel) Starten würde ich mit den aktuellen 4x HDD (2x Parity / 2x Data) und eventuell 1-2 Cachedisks (1,92TB SSD). Es würde also ein 6bay NAS ausreichen. Aber halt keine Erweiterungsmöglichkeit. Und selten die Möglichkeit für eine zusätzliche GPU. Frage: Würdet ihr ein 6- oder 8-bay NAS (QNAP, Synology, UGreen etc) kaufen? Oder lieber DIY mit mehr Flexibilität? Sollte ich eine Grafikkarte einbauen wegen Transcoding? Sorry ich stelle mich wie der letzte Mensch an an aber wie schon gesagt: Ich lese hier Forenbeiträge und wenn ich denke "DAS IST MEIN NEUES MAINBOARD" dann kommt ein anderer Eintrag und macht mir das wieder "kaputt" :) Grüße und schon mal Danke fürs lesen
