  1. It can take a few minutes for the SMB shares to be current after changes. Give it some time, or if it doesn't go away, just click on the double arrows icon at the the upper right hand of the UD page to refresh UD.
  2. 3. The orb ball is only based on being able to ping the remote share server. The 'Mount' button and the size, used, and free indicators (from df) will show mount status.
  4. Your issue is not a UD Preclear issue. Please post your issue with diagnostics here:
  5. I need the log when Unraid shuts down and reboots. Unfortunately, it is lost when rebooting. You have the Tips and Tweaks plugin installed. There is a log archive feature that saves a copy of the syslog on the flash when Unraid is shutting down. Set the "Enable syslog Archiving?" to 'Yes' and then start a preclear and shut down Unraid. When you reboot, the syslog will be archived to '/flash/logs/'.
  6. Unraid 6.12 introduced the concept of listening interfaces. Read the release notes here https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/release-notes/6.12.0/ and see if you need to add your interface so UD can mount remote shares. For example, if you use a Zerotail or Tailscale VPN.
  7. I just tried a reboot to see if there was an issue with pausing and resuming a preclear and it worked for me. In order to catch this so I can troubleshoot this, do this: Set up the syslog server to write the log to disk. Reboot while running a preclear. Post the syslog.
  8. Which computer is the client and which is the server?

Here are my suggestions: Go through all the FCP issues and get them sorted out. Be sure to remove the NerdPack plugin as it is not compatible with 6.11. You have some disk mapping issues. Find out why your UPS keeps losing communications. Run Unraid without any Docker containers running and see if the log messages and filling of the log stops.
  10. UD is used by many users like myself to back up files. I plug in a USB disk and a device script runs doing the work I want done for that device. The Historical devices are devices that were in UD but have been removed as you noted. When I plug in a USB disk, the disk mounts and runs the script as defined in the Historical devices. This makes the backup a plug and play operation. Without the Historical device settings, UD does not know what to do when a disk in plugged in.
  11. It is not a feasability issue. UD mounts devices whenever auto mount is set and if the server is not available, UD will not attempt another try to mount. I don't think UD mounting remote shares when the server is online is a good idea. What if the user doesn't want auto mount shares to be re-mounted like this? You should develop a plan to handle this case. Another suggestion would be to unmount remote shares at a certain time (like just before the server goes to sleep) and mount them at a different time when the server would be back online. You can do this manually or programmatically using user scripts.
  12. Be sure the clients are using NFSv4. NFSv3 has issues when a share is using the cache and files are moved by the mover from the cache to the share disk(s).
  13. Did you update to 6.12.x stable? If you did, read the release notes on what needs to be done to support Zerotier.

Current token: uid=1001, gid=100, 4 groups: 100 3003 3004 3005 I can see that after all this, NFS and SMB both are going south. Here are some suggestions: Don't use a cache on your shares for the time being. Your disks are all very full. I'd suggest you verify the 'Allocation Method' and the min free space makes sense for what you are doing. Can you remove some stuff from your array, or add more storage? Your disks are all pretty full. Many are over 90%. I am not an expert on NFS, but try these rules 'IP(rw,sec=sys,insecure,anongid=100,anonuid=99,no_root_squash)'. These are what I recommend for UD devices.
  15. Each device needs to give a unique serial number. The one you are showing doesn't seem to have a serial number. UD thinks they are the same device.
  16. Does the name work? Try this in a terminal and see if it returns the IP address: arp -a NASCEB6D5 Also this one: arp -an NASCEB6D5.LOCAL Bonding is for multiple NICs. If only one of your NICs is working, you can turn off bonding.
  17. Changes have been made in 6.12. Refer to the release notes.
