What is the best way to manually update for now? What distro do you normally use?

Phaze, I just upgraded to 6.1.8 and everything works except NzbGet. No matter what I do it will not install. Any ideas? it worked fine on 6.1.7. Mine just say RAID:8080 etc... After looking at it I am guessing its using Server Name under Identification? Do I need to change this to fully qualified domain name for them to work correctly?

I have been using sab forever and just recently it started crashing or freezing so I can't open the GUI and nothing downloads either. When I go into the plugin and try and restart it gets stuck stopped. It will not start again until I reboot. Any idea why it would do this? Thanks for the help Ok moving to NZBget so shouldnt be an issue any longer lol... One quick question tho. None of the webui buttons work because the url is wrong. I am guessing that is what URL base is for? However all of them are read only. How can I change these? Thanks!

Ok I had the issue and checked the config... my config said: PASSWORD="'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'" (note the single quotes after the double) After I removed the single quotes, saved and tried again it worked fine. So it looks like the single quotes are the culprit now. I removed all special chars from my password which I am guessign is why they were there in case you had them but it seems that is what is breaking it now. Thought I would give you a heads up so you could look into it Thanks!

checking for updates from plex pass. If I set to manual it is fine. But I think I figured out issue with plex not running. It looks like something happened to my library during update because if I point to a new directory it works fine. so... looks like I have to kill everything and start from scratch. It still does time out tho if I have it set to check for updates on plex pass on page load

Phaze, Since installing the new plugins the plex one is not working for some reason. It appears when checking for updates it times out and the page doesnt load at all. Also, since I updated plex isn't working at all for some reason and I am trying to figure out why now. Is anyone else having issues? Thanks!

I am having the same issue... I updated to the ninja one and it broke my plex server and still said i needed the update. I had to switch to standard release in the plugin to get it working again. Help please! I will post in issues section too

Thanks I just saw that as well. I currently do use PIA so I will probably do that. The only reason I was thinking about switching to something like airvpn was for port forwarding to run plex over it as well. Does sound rather odd. I switched to V6 and I'm totally happy with it. Rock solid for me. I even jumped on the VM bandwagon. Ironicbadger has put together some awesome preconfigured VMs that make it very easy to implement for all your add-ons. How difficult was it to switch? How does it effect the current shares and files? Any way to carry any current config over or recreate everything? Just trying to figure out how long it will take me. I have about 6tb of data now. Thanks! Dynamix is a sf replacement and a lot of other plugins are being converted. Be sure to remove all packages as they are not compatible and get the 64 bit plug in replacements. All shares, passwords, network, files, will not change. If you are coming from a 4.x version, the process is more involved. Sweet. I'm on the latest version 5.
