  1. I have a Recycle Bin share for my Sonarr and Radarr and Lidarr Recycling just in case I need to jump back to the previous version...What I didn't realize was that after years of this it's taking A LOT of space. I was wandering if there was a script to Delete everything in my Recycling Bin that's older than 30 days every week. Thank you in advance for your help, Rudder2
  2. @aptalca I'm having problems with the CloudFlare DNS-01. Is it main stream or should I still be on the preview update you made 3 months ago? I'm getting this error in the log: <-------------------------------------------------> cronjob running on Sat Apr 7 12:33:51 CDT 2018 Running certbot renew Saving debug log to /var/log/letsencrypt/letsencrypt.log ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Processing /etc/letsencrypt/renewal/MYDOMAIN.conf ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- expected /etc/letsencrypt/live/MYDOMAIN.com/cert.pem to be a symlink Renewal configuration file /etc/letsencrypt/renewal/MYDOMAIN.com.conf is broken. 3. YOU ARE AWESOME!!!! I decided to trust you and you were right. There is nothing wrong with the Data on the Disks...They were just disabled!! THANK YOU!!!! I will be MUCH more careful when I change critical hardware. Community will be asked first before ANY upgrade! Please add the Rocket Raid 2760A as NOT working...It almost made me loose data!!!!
  4. This is why I don't like the way unRAID does it's logs. I need to find a way to make my logs persistent eternally.
  5. DO NOT USE THIS UTILITY THINKING IT WILL REBUILD A FAILED DRIVE - it will have the opposite effect of making it impossible to rebuild an existing failed drive - you have been warned! Is a warning I get from New Config
  6. How could the parity get invalid? I just lost only Data 3 and 4 disks all others are fine?
  7. I just noticed...The Data from those 2 disks are all missing. I know the Parity is good as the last parity check says so. I thought the data was suppose to be accessible when the disks were disables using the Parity...Unless I'm missing something...
  8. I've done more research and was wandering what you though of using one of these LSI SAS 9207-8i 8-port, 6Gb/s SAS+SATA to PCI Express Host Bus Adapter with one of these Intel RAID Twenty-four port Expander Card RES2SV240 and I just try to return that Rocket Raid thing. I read that these cards seam to be rock solid with unRAID.
  9. Wow, I just spent 618$ on this this thing based on it was the only 24 drive controller I found...I didn't see the not recommended anywhere. I have no idea if I can return it or not...Is there another 24 drive x16 2.0 card out there? The are reiserfs as these were the first DATA drives I bought for unRAID when I built the system. I've been thinking of getting another drive and slowly converting them to xfs. The server has been rebooted dozens of time and I also checked the disks on another computer and they are bland as the day they were bought...I think the non-persistent logs on unRAID is the only down fall of the OS... I have so much trouble diagnosing problems because I usually find out when the server is unresponsive I had a problem. What do you mean by new config? Here is the diags after the array stop and restart Thank you again, Rudder2 rudder2-server-diagnostics-20180404-1513.zip
  10. Don't know how much this will help. The server has been rebooted several times since the problem occurred and I switched back to the internal controller, which if failing, till it is figured out. Thank you for your time and help, Rudder2 rudder2-server-diagnostics-20180404-1054.zip
  11. Here is what my array screen looks like. I swapped all the drives back to the failing internal controller because atleast it's stable when it boots up...It sometimes doesn't reconized drives on boot but when it does it works fine.
  12. I just installed a RocketRaid 2760A. It was working great till 2 drives just have no file system anymore. I took them out and tried it on another computer and verified it was correct. My onboard controller is failing is why I bought this card. I'm scared to rebuild because if I loose one more drive I will loose a lot of DATA. Any help would be appreciated. I got the controller working by fallowing the info in these forms. The 2 drives have no smart attribute failures. Just up and lost their file system. Thank you in advance, Rudder2
  13. I've been trying to get this to work my self without success. I would greatly appreciate a brief guide on how to make it work. Look forward to reading it when you complete it mishmash-!
  14. @aptalca You rock! you made my decision an easy one...I'm changing from NO-IP to Cloudflare. I've been thinking about doing it anyways because Cloudflare's free service it better than NO-IP's paid service. Done a lot of research so I wouldn't have to bother you but I though that reading the inclusion of DNS-01 verification warranted a big thank you.
  15. Good morning folks. I just had a problem with my unRAID server for the first time in 3 years that required the reset button pressed which has been getting worse as time goes on.. I tried to access Plex this AM, as I do every AM, and and it didn't work. I then tried to log in to the WebUI and it didn't work. I tried from the console GUI straight from the server and it was locked up. I tried to Telnet in and it sat on waiting for connection for almost an hour before I finally pressed the reset button because I couldn't gracefully shut it down. As far as I can tell it was running my weekly parity check when it locked up, which usually takes 12 to 14 hours. Randomly when the system boots up the 2 newest drives are not recognized and after powering down and back on a time or two they always always comes back up. It doesn't come up on it's own for the weekly automated reboot. #1 Can I get to the logs since I have to reset the system to get it back accessible? #2 How do you gracefully shutdown when the entire system is not responsive? -I tried the power button momentary press which is programmed to do a graceful shutdown. It usually beeps twice right after I press it indicating the system is shutting down...It didn't do this and after 10 minutes there was no change in status. Any information you could give me would be AWESOME but this has been occurring more frequently as time goes on. I have my system programmed to gracefully reboot it's self every Wednesday AM @ 0430 so it's not an up time problem. I found that a weekly reboot keeps my server running fast. After about 8 days or so it gets sluggish which is probably the Windows 10 Steam Game Streaming VM and Plex's constant transcoding I think is to blame. I believe a computer needs a weekly reboot anyways.
  16. It works. The complete path is /usr/local/sbin/powerdown -r and you must use it. Thank you both CHBMB and Squid! I though that was the problem but nowhere on-line could I find that path. The working script Just want to spell it out so the next person who looks for this will hopefully be able to get it to work without asking. I'm all about self help but sometimes after days of searching and coming up short I eventually ask for help. I've been researching this for 3 days till I got frustrated and asked for help. Thank you for both of your time so much! Rudder2
  17. I tried that and I get command not found. Script location: /tmp/user.scripts/tmpScripts/powerdown -r/scriptNote that closing this window will abort the execution of this script/tmp/user.scripts/tmpScripts/powerdown -r/script: line 2: powerdown: command not found
  18. This is going to sound stupid but I don't understand acronyms...What does op mean? I've read over and over what you originally said Squid but end up with more questions than answers. I went to the Plugin Page and read all I could there and even went to the Scripts page and read there. Yes, I discovered when I saved the script it didn't save with the enter the first time. Should of saw that when I copied and pasted, Thanks for pointing that out CHBMB. The new saved script it: #!/bin/bash powerdown -r And I get this error now: Script location: /tmp/user.scripts/tmpScripts/powerdown -r/scriptNote that closing this window will abort the execution of this script/tmp/user.scripts/tmpScripts/powerdown -r/script: line 2: powerdown: command not found Ironically, when I type powerdown -r in terminal it works fine. I think I need to know the location of the powerdown file to put in the script but I don't know that for sure. Thank you for your time, Rudder2
  19. Squid, I spoke too soon. I cannot get the powerdown -r to function because I cannot find the location of the powerdown command to write my own user script and I cannot find a pre written powerdown -r script. I've once again search google high and low and have resorted back to this form. I keep getting a this error: Script location: /tmp/user.scripts/tmpScripts/powerdown -r/scriptNote that closing this window will abort the execution of this script/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/user.scripts/startScript.sh: /tmp/user.scripts/tmpScripts/powerdown -r/script: /bin/bashpowerdown: bad interpreter: No such file or directory The script I wrote is #!/bin/bashpowerdown -r Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you for you time, Rudder2
  20. Thank you so much Squid! This is exactly what I needed!
