  1. Superb update! Thank you. Do we specify excluded shares by name, separated by a comma?
  2. This is a to do in the future as time permits. Thank you very much
  3. It would be great if there was a way to exclude a drive via the GUI as requested some time ago. I'd like to maintain my 14 day aged purge, while excluding my cache drive completely. For now I may look at a manual CRON, but if it could be added as an option to the GUI it would be far better. Great plugin BTW, a must have!
  4. What do you see under Workgroup settings? Maybe a screen shot. Hello, I see nothing additional at all, just the standard options UPDATE: Tried one more reinstall and it's working, albeit I see no icon in the header, only in the SMB settings. I think it only displays in the header if your server IS the local master. Haven't tried it lately since I have given that duty to my ASUS router. This is the case. My Media server is setup to to be able to always win the 'election' and it has the symbol displayed. Obviously, my Test Bed server is not the Local Master and it has no symbol! My server is the local master, but I only get the icon in the SMB settings, not in the header...

  6. Howdy Zeron, Thank you very much for resolving this, oh, and please don't misunderstand my question as impatience - I realise you do this for gratis in your spare time. It's very much appreciated.
  7. Can anyone help me with my issue of local master not showing up in the menubar or SMB settings? BTW, I also seem to be experiencing an issue with caching plugin, entering a folder on my Macbook causes the associated drive to spin up. I'm running 6.1.8.
  8. I'm also experiencing the error when trying to update on 6.1.8? plugin: installing: http://unraid.zeron.ca/plugins/open-vm-tools/openVMTools.plg plugin: downloading http://unraid.zeron.ca/plugins/open-vm-tools/openVMTools.plg plugin: downloading: http://unraid.zeron.ca/plugins/open-vm-tools/openVMTools.plg ... done plugin: downloading: http://unraid.zeron.ca/plugins/open-vm-tools/open_vm_tools-9.10.0.2476743-K4.1.15_unRaid-x86_64-8Zeron.tgz ... failed (Invalid URL / Server error response) plugin: wget: http://unraid.zeron.ca/plugins/open-vm-tools/open_vm_tools-9.10.0.2476743-K4.1.15_unRaid-x86_64-8Zeron.tgz download failure (Invalid URL / Server error response)
  9. Doesn't seem to work for me on 6.1.7? Uninstalled and reinstalled, only to find it no longer shows in settings either. EDIT, rebooted and reinstalled - BINGO.
  10. Does anyone have any ideas?
  11. Hello, Yes, I looked there. Indeed, I am running 6.1.7.
  12. I've installed local master, but don't see anything under SMB settings, or in the title bar? I've tried an uninstall and reinstall with no luck.
  13. First confirm your SSD has TRIM support: hdparm -I /dev/sdX Look for: * Data Set Management TRIM supported (limit 8 blocks) If it does your possibly using an HBA that doesn't support FSTRIM, e.g., LSI9211-8i. I was actually just googling my issue and figured the same - it's my SAS card... :-( Seems I need to seek out an alternative cache drive... Damn it. Now I'm also concerned about the datastore SSD I use in ESXi.
  14. Hi, Firstly, thanks for the plethora of amazing plugins you've created - couldn't live without them! I've just installed the TRIM plugin (Just realised it existed). My Sandisk is dying I think as I realised it doesn't have native garbage collection (Model number: SDSSDP128G) Error received via email: fstrim: /mnt/cache: FITRIM ioctl failed: Input/output error The error in the logs: Jan 16 19:35:31 unRAID kernel: sd 14:0:0:0: [sdc] UNKNOWN(0x2003) Result: hostbyte=0x00 driverbyte=0x08 Jan 16 19:35:31 unRAID kernel: sd 14:0:0:0: [sdc] Sense Key : 0x5 [current] Jan 16 19:35:31 unRAID kernel: sd 14:0:0:0: [sdc] ASC=0x21 ASCQ=0x0 Jan 16 19:35:31 unRAID kernel: sd 14:0:0:0: [sdc] CDB: opcode=0x42 42 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 18 00 Jan 16 19:35:31 unRAID kernel: blk_update_request: critical target error, dev sdc, sector 247071178 Any ideas?
  15. Updated, perfect! Thank you again...
  16. A new version on VMtools is needed every time the kernel is updated in unRAID. So, yes. Currently building an updated version. Should be uploaded in a few hours. Wow, thanks for such a quick response... My no.1 plugin!
  17. Howdy, Seems after the latest update to 6.1.7, my ESXi reports VM Tools as installed but not running, do we need a new version? Thanks, Mark
  18. Using the latest version, and after a reset, I'm seeing this: http://postimg.org/image/id2868lcx/
  19. Used the ISO and it works like a charm in vsphere v6. Is there a way to have it auto load into the unRAID USB? Currently I have to select it myself. I'd also like to know this, can anyone help?
  20. After installing the latest version (2015.08.13) you need to reboot your system. Due to security tightening executables need to be run from restricted area. I tried a reset, multiple times, I still see the message :-(
  21. Good morning, I'm using the latest 6.1 RC and see this in my console now and again... "sh: /usr/local/sbin/cache_dirs: No such file or directory" Any ideas?
  22. Hi, Can this be updated for 6.1? Awesome plugin BTW...
  23. I also have this issue.
  24. The latest version of system buttons seems to cause my 'installed plugins' to hang at "Please wait, retrieving plugin information ..."
  25. Strange as Cache-Dirs does not actually change anything on the disks. All it does is periodic listings of files/folders to try and keep the relevant directory entries in RAM for performance reasons to improve the experience of browsing the file system. Cannot see off-hand how that would affect Plex. I agree it does seem odd, but having disabled the plugin, Plex is now detecting folder changes again. As far as I can understand, Plex uses native features of the OS to detect folder changes, in my case Plex is installed on Windows Server 2012 R2. I can only assume that cache_dirs affects the ability to detect updates. FYI, this is an example of how Windows detects directory changes - https://goo.gl/KSSxez
