  1. I can't imagine there isn't a capability in linux to do multiple software raid setups at once on a system. That just sounds like crazy talk.
  2. It would be nice if there was a way to create multiple parity groups, so that you can have one for your data disks (think capacity) and another for active disks (like VM's, docker apps, etc) For example I would have one of spinning disks for my data and one of SSD's for my apps, because I like having the mirror of my apps in case of disk loss.
  3. Are these docker images still being updated? I've just plugged my system back in after an 8 month hiatus from living with a slow ass connection and after checking, there aren't any updates available apparently?
  4. That makes sense, but my last cache drive failed and I had to rebuild it, it was quite annoying. I really want drive 1 to spin down.
  5. Currently I'm trying to figure out why Plex is preventing drive 1 and my parity drive from spinning down. I know its plex as I shut plex down and set my spin down time to 15 minutes and it spun down. But with Plex running I was unable to even manually spin down the drives. I'm running the latest release from bin hex and currently I'm running: Case: Sun Ultra 24 w/external power button Asus 88x-Plus w/fx-7600 8GB RAM Parity: Seagate 5tb (shucked drive) Drive 1: Toshiba 5tb PH3500 model Drive 2 WD Caviar 1.5TB Drive 3: Samsung 1TB enterprise drive Drive 4 (apps only): 120GB OCZ Arc 100 Cache Drive: 240GB OCZ Arc 100 Unraid 6.1.6 I moved my apps to drive 4 to save myself power as it runs at 7 watts, but I cannot get them to spin down. I am running (BINHEX)Plex Docker and it is current
  6. I'm currently experiencing this same issue. I just moved all of my docker apps to a dedicated 120gb ssd to conserve power. But drive 1 and the parity drive dont spin down. I'm open to suggestion
  7. http://sellout.woot.com/offers/hitachi-gst-deskstar-4tb-internal-sata-hd-15?ref=cnt_wp_18_9 didn't buy any but I thought I'd share. Been using 5TB Toshiba drives off amazon myself, they run a touch warm (86F), but work well. http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-7200rpm-3-5-Inch-Internal-PH3500U-1I72/dp/B00OP2PKH2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1443619600&sr=8-1&keywords=toshiba+5tb
  8. I JUST updated Sab tonight and it will start, but not run. The logs are attached SABNZBD.txt
  9. I bought a desktop MOBO that didn't have an internal USB port, but it did have pins to connect a USB 3.0 connector. I bought an adapter I thought others might like, and the 3.0 will make for faster boot times (hopefully, this is my first plex build) as well. I'll update further when it gets here tomorrow (18 April 2015.) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005AJX9MW/ref=shptrk_scth $6.90 USD at the time of this posting And just for the curious this is the usb drive I used: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LLEN5FQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 $10.24 USD at the time of this posting
