Hi. Unable to add my email adress in the settings in nextcloud in order to receive notifications. When I try to use authentication "logIn" there is no place to actually enter the log in information. Is this a bug?

Hi Have an issue I have not experience before. A friend told me he had some issue with opening some files on the server. I went in to check on my pc using NC an sure enough. I had some issues as well. It told me the files were not there anymore. Even though we saw them!? I logged in on my serves using WINSCP and sure enough. The files where not there. How could they just have disappear? Why are they still showing in NC client? Only thing I can think of was that I had deleted the file in like WINSCP and not in NC. I can not understand how that could have happend. Please help me figure this out and if possible get my files back. It is about 10-15 folders with 25-30GB Update: I see now that a lot more files have disappeared There is no chance that I one day just thought that I wanted to delete around 40GB of data directly on the server! An the strange thing is that it seems rather random. There are missing pictures, documents and movies all over the server. I have to admit that my trust in Unraid and nextcloud are now really low and unless there is some logic to this I see no option then to move to other cloudbased software that is a lot more reliable than this. It is to bad as I really like Unraid but loosing files of this magnitude is not an option.

Preclear plugin
Hi I have a disk that comes up with errors. Have tried to preclear it but every time it comes up with a message that my drive doesnt have a valid unraid mbr signature. Any ideas on what is wrong with it? I bought two brand new disks and have only used them for about 6 months, when one of them failed. Here is the log from my first try but nothing from my last tries.: Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: ata3: SATA max UDMA/133 abar m2048@0xf0000000 port 0xf0000200 irq 26 Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: ata3: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 300) Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: ata3.00: ATA-10: ST4000DM004-2CV104, ZFN0GAQG, 0001, max UDMA/133 Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: ata3.00: 7814037168 sectors, multi 0: LBA48 NCQ (depth 32), AA Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: ata3.00: configured for UDMA/133 Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sd 3:0:0:0: [sdc] 7814037168 512-byte logical blocks: (4.00 TB/3.64 TiB) Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sd 3:0:0:0: [sdc] 4096-byte physical blocks Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sd 3:0:0:0: [sdc] Write Protect is off Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sd 3:0:0:0: [sdc] Mode Sense: 00 3a 00 00 Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sd 3:0:0:0: [sdc] Write cache: enabled, read cache: enabled, doesn't support DPO or FUA Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sdc: sdc1 Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sd 3:0:0:0: [sdc] Attached SCSI disk Oct 8 23:14:16 MainStation emhttpd: ST4000DM004-2CV104_ZFN0GAQG (sdc) 512 7814037168

It has been like this for months. Not sure when it actually started, but I guess it was after i moved to a new house. Only thing I can honestly say I have changed is the ISP and the router but everything else is working fine.

I was actually referring to the nextcloud-backup folder I create during the upgrade. I was not aware of the plugin that you have mentioned but will install it and see if I can figure it out.

Yeah I know but still...:) One question. If everything was messed up. could I just delete the new nextcloud folder, rename the backup folder and restart nextcloud and be back at the beginning?

Guess you ment this: you need to downgrade your install change the respository yo "linuxserver/nextcloud:140" and it will downgrade it. then you will need to manually upgrade next cloud to v13 and then remove the ":140" part and upgrade and you will be fine. Okay. I have done everything. I was first a bit unsure what was meant by changing the respository and how to get the 13 version in there. Could it be as easy as just to change 12 to 13, and it was;) So now I have also updated it to 13.0.6 through the web and it went like a charm. Sometimes things are as easy as it seems. Just was a bit afraid of ruining my whole setup.

I have enabled autoupload but nothing happends. There is nothing in the activity or in the upload section. In my mobile it shows that it will upload to a folder that first didnt exist. I made the folder but it still doesnt help. I have enabled that it shall create subfolders.

Tried to install letsencrypt in order to get rid of the pesky warnings but the nextcloud did not want to start wen done. Since I was afraid to mess to much with it I just removed letsencrypt and set the config file in nextcloud back to original form. Everything is working again now. But I would like to ask a few questions before I try again. I hate half guessing while doing something like this. At the moment I'm running Nextcloud on 443. My config file looks like this: <?php $CONFIG = array ( 'memcache.local' => '\\OC\\Memcache\\APCu', 'datadirectory' => '/data', 'instanceid' => 'ocdom0nknjo5', 'passwordsalt' => 'ssdsdsdsd', 'secret' => 'sdsddssd', 'trusted_domains' => array ( 0 => '192.168.0.100', 1 => 'mydomain', ), 'overwrite.cli.url' => 'https://192.168.0.100', 'dbtype' => 'mysql', 'version' => '12.0.4.3', 'dbname' => 'nextcloud', 'dbhost' => '192.168.0.100:3306', 'dbport' => '', 'dbtableprefix' => 'oc_', 'dbuser' => 'MrVilla', 'dbpassword' => 'mypassword', 'installed' => true, ); I install letsencrypt on 442 I make a nextcloud file in letsencrypt to this: server { listen 442 ssl; server_name mydomain; root /config/www; index index.html index.htm index.php; ###SSL Certificates ssl_certificate /config/keys/letsencrypt/fullchain.pem; ssl_certificate_key /config/keys/letsencrypt/privkey.pem; ###Diffie–Hellman key exchange ### ssl_dhparam /config/nginx/dhparams.pem; ###SSL Ciphers ssl_ciphers 'ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384:DHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256:DHE-DSS-AES128-GCM-SHA256:kEDH+AESGCM:ECDHE-RSA-AES128-SHA256:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES128-SHA256:ECDHE-RSA-AES128-SHA:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES128-SHA:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-SHA384:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-SHA384:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-SHA:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-SHA:DHE-RSA-AES128-SHA256:DHE-RSA-AES128-SHA:DHE-DSS-AES128-SHA256:DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA256:DHE-DSS-AES256-SHA:DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA:AES128-GCM-SHA256:AES256-GCM-SHA384:AES128-SHA256:AES256-SHA256:AES128-SHA:AES256-SHA:AES:CAMELLIA:DES-CBC3-SHA:!aNULL:!eNULL:!EXPORT:!DES:!RC4:!MD5:!PSK:!aECDH:!EDH-DSS-DES-CBC3-SHA:!EDH-RSA-DES-CBC3-SHA:!KRB5-DES-CBC3-SHA'; ###Extra Settings### ssl_prefer_server_ciphers on; ssl_session_cache shared:SSL:10m; ### Add HTTP Strict Transport Security ### add_header Strict-Transport-Security "max-age=63072000; includeSubdomains"; add_header Front-End-Https on; client_max_body_size 0; location / { proxy_pass https://192.168.0.100:442/; (I have here changed the IP to my server IP. 192.168.0.1 is my routers IP. proxy_max_temp_file_size 2048m; include /config/nginx/proxy.conf; } } I change nextcloud config to this: <?php $CONFIG = array ( 'memcache.local' => '\\OC\\Memcache\\APCu', 'datadirectory' => '/data', 'instanceid' => 'ocdom0nknjo5', 'passwordsalt' => 'ssdsdsdsd', 'secret' => 'sdsddssd', 'trusted_domains' => array ( 0 => '192.168.0.100:442', (still using mye servers IP) 1 => 'mydomain', ), 'overwrite.cli.url' => 'https://mydomain' , 'overwritehost' => 'mydomain' , 'overwriteprotocol' => 'https' , 'dbtype' => 'mysql', 'version' => '12.0.4.3', 'dbname' => 'nextcloud', 'dbhost' => '192.168.0.100:3306', 'dbport' => '', 'dbtableprefix' => 'oc_', 'dbuser' => 'MrVilla', 'dbpassword' => 'mypassword', 'installed' => true, ); Am i getting something right here? EDIT: Messed up on the ports. Corrected now. Unraid SSL is moved to 444

@CHBMB At last I got it to work. Started totally on scratch after removing both MariaDB and NC. Went through everything and when I pressed the WebUI on NC Docker windows the page was loading without anything happening. I then thought I should try Chrome instead. Sure enough. After1 min everything was up and running!:) I have no other solution than it was the new Firefox that tried to prevent something. ANyway. In my eager to get it working I set the wrong data folder in NC. I have tried to change it back to where it should be but it doesn't like that. It wont accept when i change the Data folder. Any ideas?

@CHBMB Just reinstalled again:) Well....I think everything is ok regarding the configuration of mariadb. Not 100% certain as there was some issues during the process. I also got acess to Nextcloud webui, but after I have entered all details and pushed "finish" it sort of just reset the window like nothing had changed Nytt tekstdokument.txt

LOL....no certainly did not:) I have now cleaned out everything. Went through all drives, users and cache to be sure. The log now seems "fine". It does not continuesly log every second anymore. But I do get an errormessage as follows when entering the following command root@MainStation:/mnt/cache/appdata/mariadb# docker exec -it mariadb-nextcloud bash root@cb7d95b5f1a9:/# mysql -uroot -p Enter password: ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) root@cb7d95b5f1a9:/#
