  1. cp /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/networkstats/vnstat.conf /etc/vnstat.conf
  2. Try the manual copy, let me know if that works. Very odd
  3. Yup should be rock solid now. ::knock on wood::
  4. All of it came down to trying to copy to the cache drive when it didnt exist, and the order in which I was doing things.
  5. The daemon runs as root so it should have access to that folder, without changing permissions
  6. It will give it some time, also edit the settings to select your devices.
  7. @MMWyou should be able to upgrade your plugin to 2018.10.06c
  8. OK excellent, let me correct.
  9. @MMW does /mnt/user/appdata exist on your system?
  10. Ahhh thats whats causing it, ok let me adjust something.
  11. I can add that to the setup to see if it helps.
  12. The permissions are all pretty much the same in unraid
  13. @MMWJust thought of something. Do you have a cache drive setup??
  14. you can definitely do it manually, but I am really interested in why its not copying for you.
  15. The install should be copying vnstat.con from /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/networkstats/vnstat.conf and overwriting the one in /etc/vnstat.conf fixing all the path issues.
  16. Yes, please try that
  17. EXCELLENT!! Thank you everyone for sticking with me on this. It was my first plugin.
  18. @MMW, new version released, please uninstall the current version and install the new one. Also can you post back the log from the install if it doesnt work...
  19. Yes sorry, autocorrect strikes again
  20. Ok the PIDFILE location looks good, let me try to have the install manual create that folder. DatabaseDir is not correct, which means it’s not copying the vnstat.conf from /user/local/emhttp/plugins/network stats/vnstat.conf over to /etc/vnstat.conf
  21. Hmm something seriously weird here, as I’ve now uninstall, restarted machine and then reinstalled and things are working just fine. Can you me what it says for DBLocation in /etc/vnstat.conf and what it says for PIDFILE in /etc/rc.d/rc.vnstat?
  22. And was it an upgrade or fresh install?
  23. What version of unRaid?
  24. It shouldn’t even be using that location. I wonder, can you try a restart of unraid, and see if things come up properly?
  25. @dukiethecorgi @gacpac @Squid - Alright, I fixed some paths and I believe all the right config files and pid paths are now being put in place. 2018.10.06a is out
