  1. Hi guys, first of all thanks for your amazing job DLandon. I've a problem trying to preclear a bunch of disk. I used the plugin for the first disk and everything went as planned. now I tried already 2 more disk but the preclear is stuck at "starting" also after several hours. I tried to stop, reboot, format / clear the partition but nothing, I can't find a way to make it works. any idea?
  2. thanks, quite sure for error. didn't think about checking the smart. you're right. no reallocated sector so I should be good to GO
  3. Hi, I just finished 2 cycle pre-clear of an unassigned disk. at the beginning I had the icon to open the log and check status, but then disappeared. How can I retrive the information? in particular about reallocated sector count! thanks for any help!
  4. tried some suggestion of that thread but with no luck still running slow(er) 115 MB/s I read somewhere someone lost a disk and had symphtoms like slow parity check before... guess I'm ordering a new spare just in case...
  5. here you are my diag! tower-diagnostics-20210512-1317.zip
  6. This was what I thought and for this I disabled almost everything I'll check if the only PC connected to the same net is causing the issue
  7. Hi guys! After a few year of happy usage of Unraid wich is improving continously I'm now here to ask your help. I'm observing lately a decrease in Parity check speed. anyone else had this? is it related to some update to UnRaid? If not, are there any action I can try to check if I've problems? I'm doing again it with all Dockers & VM switched off but also if not completed It's still around "only" 122MB/s. Any suggestion? thanks in advance
  8. please check MariaDb docker thread, I had your same issue as other people, you need to delete one log file in mariadb appdata folder to solve the issue!
  9. Super thank you for this! solved my same problem too ❤️
  10. Hi guys can I ask you how can I backup my mariadb? I'm using it for nextcloud and I'd like planned backup... just in case
  11. Already arrived the new one, thanks Amazon!!! But for the substitution of the dead one I took a bigger Sony, hoping that the bigger form factor help the KEY to cool down and to last longer. The speedtest app is running once a day to test my new connection, in a while I will switch it totally off.
  12. This is the result of the command & a search from win in the usb folder with file modified "today". Can you see something strange? this morning I had 285 writes, now it's 382 :'( I made some changes in settings but I don't think I did 100 changes!
  13. Update: from yesterday when I went to sleep (midnight) to this mornig (8 am) the usb key had been written 22times, and read 121 times. Can I consider this as normal or not? should I do something? I checked the docker config and I don't see any reference to "FLASH" in settings. I have and use CAbackupp which maybe is cause of reading writing plus docker autoupdate? should I set less frequent bck / autoupdate?
  14. Checked and since boot, the only files changed on the usb key are the one I expect to change. I will monitor the situation. I also have moved from USB3 to USB2 to be safe, i read several people had problem similar to mine using USB3. I tought that if it was working I should not worry but... I was wrong. I only ask myself what we will do when we won't have anymore USB2.0 on new mobo!
  15. Update: restored everything and license moved. Now a question: since boot I've got 246 writes on usb stick. I "played" a bit configuring new vm. Is it normal or are them too much?
