2 Disabled drives, need advice
Thank you @JorgeB @trurl for your support. The content of all drives are viewable, the lost+found are minimal, any lost content can be restored again. The used space looks almost similar, around 1TB less. Unrelated question: Is it possible to add an (xfs) drive with existing content to an array of the same file system (xfs) without losing the content of the new drive? I'm aware that the parity has to be rebuild again. I'm thinking about copying the data to a local xfs drive instead of transferring them through the network. tower-diagnostics-20260706-1953.zip

Noted, will check that. Should I run the repair on disk 1 without -n and with -L when requested?

2 Disabled drives, need advice
Hi JorgeB, this is the xfs_repair status of disk 1 Disk 1 xfs_repair status You're right, I can browse my files now in disk 7 and noticed the lost+found folder. Which is a good sign.

2 Disabled drives, need advice
It was emulating the last time on normal mode. Since I unassigned it, this is the first time I started the array in normal mode.

Thank you for your response JorgeB. Should I start the array in normal mode first? Should I keep disk 1 as unassigned?

2 Disabled drives, need advice
Hi all. I would appreciate your help. 2 of my drives are disabled (Disk 1, and Disk 7), and I've 2 parity drives. Disk 1 was disabled for sometime, and the data was emulated. But when disk 7 got disabled, the content of disk 7 where disappeared, although the status is (Disabled, content emulated). When I tried to browse disk 7, I got "Invalid path" or something close to that. Could be a file system corruption. I've unassigned disk 1 and tried to assign a larger drive (18TB), then discovered that it's not possible, as my parity is 8TB. The current status is "unassigned". Since unassigned and disconnect disk 1, I have only started the array in "Maintenance mode" once only. I didn't start it in normal mode. After starting the array in "Maintenance mode", I tried to "Check Filesystem Status" of disk 7 with and without -n. The repair button didn't appear. Didn't do anything else. Q: What is the best way to proceed with minimal data loss? I'm moving my data to the new Unraid server, and will do a new config for this server. So rebuilding the drives in not really important unless necessary. Thank you. tower-diagnostics-20260704-0423.zip ST8000VN004-3CP101_WWZ2J8M4-20260704-0245 disk1 (sdi) - DISK_DSBL.txt

Advise on relplacing a disbled drive
Does Disk 2 has any signs of failing that required replacement? Or rebuilding the same disk is enough? Thanks.

Advise on relplacing a disbled drive
Thanks JorgeB. The extended SMART test had read failure. It didn't pass the 30% (Attached) tower-smart-20260516-1735.zip

Advise on relplacing a disbled drive
Hi all, I'm getting read error in "Disk 1" and "Disk 2" got disabled. While copying some data from the array, the server suddenly shutdown (2 times) I would appreciate your suggestion wither I should rebuild the same disabled disk again (Disk 2), or replace it with a new drive. The replacement will be a 18TB as I don't have a spare 8TB. The first diagnostics is directly after booting up the server after the unclean shutdown (20260514), and the second one is recent (20260516). Thank you in advance. tower-diagnostics-20260514-1759.zip tower-diagnostics-20260516-1056.zip

Unraid is booting, but webui is not working
Hi all, Today my USB drive has failed, I've downloaded the latest backup from Unraid connect and installed it in a new USB drive (Using Unraid USB Creator). When booting the new USB, I can see Unraid IP address in the screen, also I'm able to ping this IP address from my PC. However, unraid web ui is not working. Tried to run with GUI mode, the "localhost" page is also not responding. I would appreciate your help. The diagnostics is attached. Thank you. tower-diagnostics-20241118-0945.zip

SMB Share between two unraid servers
I'm not familiar with sonarr and radarr, but this should work: - Edit the docker - "Add another Path, Port, Variable, Label or Device" - The SMB share will be under this path "/mnt/remotes/<SMB Share Name>/" Then the docker will have access to the SMB share similar to the array

SMB Share between two unraid servers
Are your apps installed as dockers in UnRaid? Add the paths of the SMB shares and UD moints to the dockers, then add them as a new source.
-
SMB Share between two unraid servers
Not sure if Symlink / soft links will work, but why you don't just map multiple drives in your main PC? You can add different sources to your Plex (Array, SMB shares, unassigned drives, etc.)

Constant reading of one disk
Have you tried plugins like "File Activity" or "Open Files" to see what files/processes are currently being active?
-
SMB Share between two unraid servers
As far as I know, SMB and NFS shares cannot be added to the array, as they are not viewed as a "Drive" to other unRaid server.

Docker apps can't write directly to Array
You're right, this was the issue. Reduced it to 100GB and everything works fine now. Thanks a lot @trurl and @JorgeB

Docker apps can't write directly to Array
Hi all, When switching the Share "Primary storage" from "Cache" to "Array", dockers like rtorrent and FileZilla can't write new files, even in SMB shares. Switching back to "Cache" then everything works fine. I've seen the below thread, but I don't understand why the using (/mnt/user/) path doesn't work with the "Array"? I remember it was working fine in older updates. Appreciate your help. Thanks. tower-diagnostics-20240227-1735.zip
