  1. Many thanks @scolcipitato but yeah, ended up manually doing it. I have noticed that I get incorrect start order. If I look in userprefs.cfg I can see the order is basally the same as my original docker folder layout and modified as of today. I am wondering does folder view edit the order to lay out and sort docker containers? Or is it safe to go through and somehow edit to get into the correct layout, and it won't affect my folder layout structure? Once again, many thanks for your help. userprefs.cfg
  2. How do i import the json file from docker folder to folder view? If i use the import option, then nothing happens. folders.json
  3. Basically using the userscripts plugin and create new script and set to run say every 5 minutes or so
  4. Hi there, I have installed this container and when I go to the web ui, i get no webpage what soever. I do notice that it connects on 8080 even though I have given a different port number. when i go to the port the number i still get webpage not available. I have tried host and custom docker network and the docker container just simply shuts down.
  5. im trying to import my json file into folder view and seams to fail, i just get 3 undefined folders and thats it?
  6. i will add that if anyone is getting issues with selecting cron, to make a userscript with the following echo "START SCANNING FOR NEXTCLOUD FILES&FOLDERS" docker exec --user 99 Nextcloud php occ files:scan --all & docker exec --user 99 Nextcloud php -f /var/www/html/cron.php Set it to run every hour and you should be sorted.
  7. i tired this as im getting "You are accessing your instance over a secure connection, however your instance is generating insecure URLs. This most likely means that you are behind a reverse proxy and the overwrite config variables are not set correctly. Please read the documentation page about this". But i just get webpage not available when accessing locally. I never remember this much problem when setting up linux server io. Not sure how to get the local web ui to load over https. i know im gonna get the connection not secure thing, but then you just click continue.
  8. I am aslo seeing this message `The database is used for transactional file locking. To enhance performance, please configure memcache, if available`. Not sure how to do such a thing, but it looks like it has something to do with redis. I have got redis setup. so do i need to edit the config with redis info or quite what?
  9. im having a similar issue, you need to delete the database. i use adminer which is a gui frontend for mariadb. you then login and select the database, then drop the database. There is a current issue, where even dropping the database, clearing appdata ect, i still end up with the same problem as you do, I did those steps then had to reinstall nextcloud again and as now have the same issue as you do.
  10. Thank you, I have added the script you had written into userscripts, but i am seeing, START SCANNING FOR NEXTCLOUD FILES&FOLDERS {"reqId":"Lbtqsgo4geN8p2pVBL5m","level":3,"time":"2023-09-01T11:07:37+00:00","remoteAddr":"","user":"--","app":"PHP","method":"","url":"--","message":"fopen(/var/www/html/data/data_dir_writability_test_64f1c5f959655.tmp): Failed to open stream: Permission denied at /var/www/html/lib/private/legacy/OC_Util.php#579","userAgent":"--","version":"27.0.2.1","data":{"app":"PHP"}} Your data directory is invalid. Ensure there is a file called ".ocdata" in the root of the data directory. Your data directory is not writable. Permissions can usually be fixed by giving the web server write access to the root directory. See https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/27/go.php?to=admin-dir_permissions. {"reqId":"Lbtqsgo4geN8p2pVBL5m","level":3,"time":"2023-09-01T11:07:37+00:00","remoteAddr":"","user":"--","app":"PHP","method":"","url":"--","message":"fopen(/var/www/html/data/nextcloud.log): Failed to open stream: Permission denied at /var/www/html/lib/private/Log/File.php#84","userAgent":"--","version":"27.0.2.1","data":{"app":"PHP"}} I have used the file browser to change the permissions for the nextcloud appdata and nextcloud data share to read/write, but this is what im seeing. There is a .ocdata in the root of the data directory.
  11. Im now getting this as well. I have tried nextcloud cron docker, as it saysw cron is recommended. but how the heck do i give write access, its looking for?
  12. where do you point the /opt/log part to in the appdata folder of ngxproxy? I have tried /mnt/user/appdata/NginxProxyManager /mnt/user/Logs/NginxProxyManager/logs and no matter where i point to in the ngxproxy appdata folder, nothing shows up on the dashboard. How can i be sure i have it right? I am using jlesage NginxProxyManager. Thank you
  13. How do you get nextcloud to install? I have mariadb with my original database. but when i create an account along with the correct info for mariadb. I get the username is already being used Create an admin account. but I am on the option of creating admin account? Do need to delete the maria nextcloud database? Update Yes you need to delete the database, only way i could nextcloud to install. Just make sure the database is really deleted by filling in the database name as nextcloud when signing in to adminer
