i did a file system check on disk 6 and nothing was found

here it is. something else is also happening. after a reboot of my computer not all of mt media is showing up in plex. i have around 1800 movies but now its only showing 1400. all the drives are connected. tower-diagnostics-20200219-1617.zip

after about 25-30 min of my server running the LOG fills up and then my dockers like Sabnzb suffers and stops downloading.

what would you recommend to add 6+ sata ports to my system. the sata expander im using is only 6 ports. so the 10 port that your reading is the one on my motherboard.

so this drive has the plastic part of the sata connector broken off. i'm trying to keep the sata connector installed just in the metal prongs sticking out of he drive. how can i know i have a good connection to the drive from the softwear?

ive been trying to figure out why my parity rebuild is taking so long. i get its 10TB and i have 45.5 TB of data but its going so slow. i have had much faster rebuilds and checks with the same amount or close to the same amount of data. just unplugged from that Marvell controller and used the other controllers. i removed one HDD from my array due to lacking one more sata port. the parity is rebuilding now. hope it works. tower-diagnostics-20190208-2106.zip

i have 8 HDD in my array with one parity. i keep getting disk errors on 4 out of the 8 drives including the parity. i have changed the sata cables and tried different ports on the motherboard. nothing has worked. i keep trying to run a SMART scan but it snot working. please help. what do i do to gets the drives to work? tower-diagnostics-20190207-2111.zip

just did it. then added one of the WD white drives to the parity. it is rebuilding now. thank you for the help. will keep updating on progres.

i have a issue, i am trying to add a new parity drive to my array and at the same time add a new storage drive to the array. these are WD white label drives from being shucked. they have the 3rd pin mod on them and are detected fine. i currently have 2 other WD white label drives in my array running fine. what the issue is that i currently have all of the disks in the array with no parity. i am trying to remove on of the new WD white drives from the array without losing mt 13TB of data. how do i go about doing this the safest way. do i use the new config in tools?
