  1. So, I have a question about unriad permissions. I will have a need to run filebot on TV shows to correct show names and also on Movies to fix Movie names. But, I'll be doing this sometimes over the network. I have found out hat sometimes I can modify the files and sometimes I can't. What should be the permission so that I can do this and which user should own the files. Also, once I figure this out, it should be a simple to do a chwon user -R for all of the directories and files (I may be missing some info for this command) Thanks!
  2. Thanks @Josh.5 I know I speak for everyone when I say Thanks! I love this tool and it's helping a lot. Still being an unraid newb, is there a place where I can see what was fixed or added for a new push?
  3. @Josh.5 is there a way to have this container spin up with only 2 workers? I have found that 2 work just fine without having the fans on my machine prepare for takeoff. However, when I start it up I have to tick down the number of workers each time.
  4. Thanks I just wanted to check as if I que this bad boy up and let it run then stop it and run it again, it would load shows that already have been encoded. I haven't watched closely enough to see if its skipping them or processing them.
  5. One other question: Does the optimizer skip shows that have already been h265 encoded?
  6. So.. one more question on this: Is there a utility that will stop and start this docker on command? It would be nice to let it chug away at the library during the night when everyone is asleep then have it turn off in the morning.
  7. Reporting back: Looks like the parity re-build was a success. Thanks to everyone who helped!
  8. Drive three back in the green! Now to do drive 4! Reporting back in a day
  9. Gotcha, Will do. Thanks for your help and everyone else who chimed in. I really appropriate it
  10. Yes, it shows as mounted but still have another 10+ hours on the re-build
  11. It is re-building one of the disks that reported in as unmountable
  12. Its doing a Parity-Sync / Data-Rebuild.. I reported it wrong as a parity check. Been a long night and not all unraid challenges..
  13. Ok, I'll have to come back to this. I thought the party check was done but its still going. Will report back fully when its done then follow your directions @trurl Thanks
  14. @johnnie.black Thanks for replying. It just finished the party check and comes up emulated. The files look fine. Just a couple of questions: How to I run the command to check the filesystem? And if that's good to go, do I just remove the drive from the array and format it? Sorry for the newb questions but I want to make sure I get this right. Thanks
  15. So I added a drive to my system setup and when I booted back up two drives have Unmountable: Unsupported partition layout on them and I'm not sure what to do. First some facts: Unriad 6.6.6 MB: Supermicro - X8DT3 CPU: Intel® Xeon® CPU L5640 @ 2.27GHz Memory: 48 GB Multi-bit ECC (max. installable capacity 384 GB) I have 5 10TB drives on the array with 1 tb drive running parity. At this point, I had run out of SATA ports on the machine and it was time to install my Adaptec ASR-5805Z so I could install more drives. So I install the card, install the mini SAS cables and while I was in there I thought, maybe I should use this time to fee some of those SATA ports up and let me run these drives (two of the ones that are now showing up as unmountable, the cache drive and the "new" added dive) I connect all drives to the card and boot up and the drives don't appear. So after booting into unraid and seeing the drives were not there, I figured it was some configuration I needed to do in the Adapetc controller and found a nice how to on this. When I was in the Adaaptec menu, I saw the initialize step and wasn't sure if it was going to write something the drives (that had data) since I didn't want that so I canceled that, shutdown and reconnected the drives back to the sata ports on the MB. I think configured the one (new) drive on the card and initialized it and booted to unraid where I saw the message in the array and two of the drives are unmountable. I have run diagnostics and I haven't started the pre-clear (on the new drive) as that will day at least two days. However, I'm not sure what to do at this point. in array operations I do see the option to format these two disks and they don't show in unassigned devices. I'll be more than happy to provide any other information that can help with this issue. Thanks!! diagnostics-20190201-1814.zip
  16. So I need a small bit of help for something that is more of an annoyance than a problem: This is the WebUI setting I have for this container. But, when I go to the webUI for this container I get sent here: http://192.168.1.5/:8888 I'm not sure why it puts this slash in, and I have to delete it so that I can get to the GUI. Is there a way to fix this?
  17. So I have recently set up LL. I got it up and running no problems but I just happened to look at my Sabnzb container yesterday and I saw about 1000 downloads that were in the que. What seemed to be happening is, Magazines that I searched for were being selected but they were grabbing every issue that matched, going back as far as my news service could keep them. Some of these were 9 years old. I did check the configuration and Mags have a default setting of 31 days if I remember right. I'm looking for a way to have this working, hopefully to have the magazines go in their own directory (some of them did end up in a sub directory called _Magazines) but not have it completely flood my sab que with old issues. I have been looking for a good guide that explains this but so far have not been able to find anything. Thanks
  18. I just installed the container. Should I copy over the the setting from the beta libraryoptimiser? Also is there a GUI? for viewing the que?
  19. Thanks for the tips. I'm going to turn it off until I get the data loaded. Then come back and play around with the settings. Thanks!!
  20. Hi all. I'm a bit new here and have a question. I have unraid setup v .6.6.6 and everything seems to be working just fine. I have some docker containers up and working and after playing around a bit I'm at the point where I want to start moving "real data" (ie: shows and movies) and start the retirement of an old machine. I began moving over (with a FileZilla docker) shows and just decided to move files that begin with A-G just to make sure things are working properly. After checking back in I noticed the cache disk giving a warning that it was 95% + full. So, I stopped the remaining transfer went to mover and ran it. It took a while but the cache disk got back down to under 10%. My question is: When transferring a large amount of files is this normal? Is there a setting that should be set for my cache drive? (I can post images or logs I just need to know what will be helpful) Thanks for the help!
  21. Probably a good idea. Can you post the link here as one last interruption to the thread? With apologies to @SpaceInvaderOne
  22. @Josh.5 Thats looking great! Is there anything I or the form can do to help you? Need some testers?
  23. @josh.5 I am also trying this project out. So far so good with me but I noticed on thing: I have this variable set: SUPPORTED_CONTAINERS=mkv,avi,mov,ts,rmvb,mp4 but I noticed only the mkv files were being processed. So, I stopped the container and deleted everything and just left mp4 and it worked! Are we sure we should be using files types that are separated by commas? Or do you think I may have stumbled across a bug? Thanks for the hard work. PS: @SpaceInvaderOne you rock! I have you to thank and your videos for getting me interested in unraid and building my first server!!
