  1. I'm going to admit this was really dumb on my part. I couldn't delete something in my recycle bin (via the app) and usually that means it's open in another app or sometimes it's stuck in Windows Explorer and a restart of that helps. I made sure it wasn't open anywhere and went through my usual steps. Once in a while it's a process that's hanging for one reason or another and in the past I've been able to go into 'Open Files' and find that process and kill it without issue and that would allow me to empty the bin. It appears this time that process involved a whole lot more than just that file as immediately upon killing it and emptying the bin, all my shares disappeared and docker stopped working. I cannot recall the name or identifier of that process I killed. I stopped and restarted the array and the shares are still gone and docker failed to start since it doesn't have the proper paths to the docker files to start. I checked the discs in the array and all data is still on them or at least that's what it's showing via the GUI. I've attached the diagnostics file if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping it can be resolved with a restart but I'm panicking a bit here as in my almost 4 years this is the first time anything like this has happened. server-diagnostics-20231124-1735.zip
  2. Can confirm the container is broken. I had a file get stuck on 100% so I tried to restart and it wiped all the settings inside the container. It doesn't recognize the external container settings/directories and resets the internal settings at every restart. Even gives the 30 day evaluation period message. To be clear when I say internal I mean when using the container like the minimum video length to skip etc and external I mean in the container setup page in Unraid. Any ideas @Djoss? Don't know if it's related to the beta expiring but the last time it expired it simply said so and there were not any issues with the container otherwise.
  3. Hi sorry I didn't see this I haven't checked the forum since I last posted but I use a standalone program called jmkvpropedit: https://github.com/BrunoReX/jmkvpropedit You need to have mkvpropedit installed which I have via MKVToolNix on my PC. The only setup required is you go to the options tab in the program and search for the mkvpropedit executable which for me was in \ProgramFiles\MKVToolNix\ . This allows you to batch edit as many files as you'd like at once saving a lot of time. Any time I need to actually remux a file I use MKVToolNix.
  4. Having the same issue. It appears their beta license was set to expire at the end of January so we have to wait for them to update it with a new beta key. https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1053
  5. Just checked and tested it and it's fixed. Thanks a lot not only for the fix but all the work you've done here. It's made setting up and organizing all my media infinitely easier and I appreciate it.
  6. Hi Djoss, I've had one little issue with the newest update. I like to run my files through Jmkvpropedit to batch remove things like baked in titles from files or make other quick changes. The new overhaul of the MKVToolNix container here seems to change the permissions of the MKV files it outputs to read only. I can manually change these through the command line in Putty but it's a pain to have to do it if there are a lot of files I'm working with at once. Is there a way to make sure MKVToolNix is outputting writable files as it was before?
  7. Thanks it's back working now. Not sure why it didn't downloaded the latest one the first time but forcing another check for update allowed me to get the newest one.

I'm not sure if that's what is causing the problem or if its something else.

  10. Thanks for the heads up. Just checked their news section and saw the article from March 31st. Weird as it worked fine for me up until last night.
  11. Switched to Switzerland and it's working again. I was on Vancouver originally and tried Montreal but that was down too so that's why I figured it was something else but I guess all their Canadian servers might have undergone something.
  12. Did this just suddenly break for anyone else tonight? I noticed the torrents weren't moving and then I refreshed and it timed out and restarted the container and am getting "This site can't be reached." I tried changing the VPN files and nothing helped and my other devices are working fine with my VPN on.
  13. How does one go about setting up the separate Onlyoffice container? The Collabora one was simple and straight forward but for Onlyoffice I've had a bit of trouble without there being a simple preconfigured proxy-config file for it and needing to do the custom cert folder. I couldn't find any Unraid focused online guides for it.
  14. For me it's also going to be the ease of use and ability to add drives one at a time while also affording parity without striping the data. Also on a personal note, it's been extremely stable as I'm currently on day 55 of uptime on my 2nd trial extension. As someone in a tough financial spot right now, I appreciate the server being stable enough to continue running while I build up the funds to pay for a license. As for features I'd like to see, the main one would be the ability to snapshot but I'm sure that's more of a file system restriction with XFS. The snapshot feature is the only thing I'd put in the Freenas/ZoL column in a feature comparison. Everything else I prefer Unraid, especially the docker integration which is a dream for someone who wants a home file server with some nice apps and services to automate what would otherwise take a decent amount of time to tend to.
  15. Yeah I figured the more customized install route would allow it but I assumed the person asking wouldn't have configured it that way if they were new like I was. Thanks for the tip though I appreciate it.
