  1. Hi All, I just migrated to Linux (PopOS!) and love it so far. One of the issues I'm facing is that I cannot access the UNRAID Web GUI via any browser in linux. It seems to resolve to unraid.local and complains unraid.local’s DNS address could not be found. Diagnosing the problem. This worked flawlessly in Windows. What am I doing wrong? Please help.
  2. I’ve been using unraid now for almost 7-8 months. I like how you can take common pc components and make it into a powerful NAS. I would like snapshotting of docker containers and vms. This way we can revert if anything breaks.
  3. THIS!! Worked perfectly! Thank you so much.
  4. So....... I upgraded to 6.8.0-rc9 to test it out. I have a MSI Tomahawk B450Max motherboard and it seems that the NIC isn't picking up DHCP. It autoconfigures to 169.254.142.227. Furthermore, the connectivity light on my switch is off for the port it's plugged into. Basically it seems the driver(s) for the NIC are not loading. How can I either fix this or revert back to the older version? /edit The LAN chipset is: Realtek® 8111H Gigabit LAN controller Thanks!
  5. Or Intel. Their SSD's are good for this case.
  6. Your setup should be more than fine. And yes, you're right, there are some PCI lane limitations with the B450 chipset. I only have 4 SATA ports which is fine for now but could be an issue in the future. However it's nothing a HBA card cannot fix. I don't have a Kill-a-watt or anything similar but I will try to figure it out and report back. I'm using a 450W Bronze PSU, FYI.
  7. 16 GB, but only because I had it lying around. It's total overkill for my needs and 8GB would have been ample!
  8. I just (yesterday) built a new UNRAID server using an Athlon 200GE and a Gigabyte B450M DS3H motherboard. Everything runs super smooth and even some a few dockers for torrent/zerotier and power draw and heat dissipation are minimal. CPU rarely spikes above 50% use even during intense transfer sessions. I couldn't be happier. p.s. I use a separate machine to run ProxMox and that has many containers/VM's there.
