question to other guys wich compiling xbmc-server: do you use for get source xbmc: git clone https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc.git because if after that you dont make git checkout Frodo you will be have Gotham version

ok i have ready XBMC compiled under slack 13.1 but later i will be test (also im recomlied some depends packages for 13.1)

Worth is alwayes because normal sql in XBMC is Sloooowwwwww , on mysql library works much more faster, scraping, browsing etc. - everything so i good use not only for centralize btw. im also compile xbmc-server on my environment

price is not very bad if you buy other maiboard and separate LSI 2303 on PCIE 3.0 (separate card PCIE on LSI 2308 - 300$)

guys libs from slackware 13.37 are not ok - core of unraid is on Slackware 13.1 (glibc and other important stuffs) this happens segfaults, use from Slackware 13.1 This Becuase you replace glibc !!!! many apps after that will be alwayes crash like service in system example. cron

Im also starting get this error i dont why, i just look why i have full cache driver ... after check syslog i find this same issue Im already make: - check filesystem with rebuild tree on all disk include cache - backup cache driver and format (after that recovery files and make more space) - delate super.dat - and assigned once again disks - check minimal space i shares config (if is correct) And still i get this same error on command getfattr -d /mnt/user0/* I get So im delate folder stuff, please now me help how i can fix other errors without delating folders how i can find corrupted files ? or maybe any other solution for fix that ? Im also interested why now some users start reporting this error - some rc12 issue ? Hi I can only confirm on rc12/a stale NFS issue still exist im few time get this error on 2 days this should be finly fixed, this is main function. With error like that this shuould be Alpha or Beta version not RC ! (for me array work and files handle over network should be on 1rst plain, if this work OK yes could be named RC version but now even with AFP make some errors sorry, i know Tom have a lot stuff on head but maybe this all issue are in some related with quite new kernel and like for me old filesystem from slackare 13.1 from 2010 maybe time to move on )

After successful cross-flashing firmware of LSI from IR to IT - now finly good working without errors from kernel and crashes Here all files needed to flash LSI - include EFI https://truck.it/p/p2cq7xHBkI Boot from F11 and choose USB with this files (Flash drivie must have FAT32 filesystem) After start EFI shell tap: map #for list storage devices, find USB flash drive - most fs0 or fs1 #now tap: fs0: #next wee need erase Firmware, in other way LSI not allow us to write IT firmware sas2flash.efi -o -e 7 #and now we need Flash new IT sas2flash.efi -f 2308IT14.ROM #SUCCESS and we can reboot After boot After one day test on EXSi 5.1 eveything good working include LSI2308 maped over Direct I/O to virtual unRAID Soon more ....

Hi Im bought mainboard Asrock Extreme 11 with - LSI 2308 And unfortunately I have to say there is bug in unraid with driver mpt2sas Im mount 7 disk WD RED 3TB + SSD (8 disk to SAS - LSI ) after format in time parity sync i get always crash of driver - some kernel error im try unraid RC8a and RC11 Here my logs: http://pastebin.com/Tkew5YgU https://truck.it/p/DYfTCXdmN9 https://truck.it/p/edRg1f0Xa1 About testing, im try also only on 3 disk and add one by one to 8, but alwayes i get crash sometimes after 1%, someties after 29% Im check all connectors and even replace all cables SATA on new ONE, im 100% sure this is no Hardware Issue @TOM i hope is possibility fix that before FINAL This is new Chipset "LSI 2308" working on PCIE 3.0 i think this could be some Kernel bug, maybe on higher version will be fine

Z68 Fatal1ty or Extreme has LSI chipset - wich you could normal map 1:1 over VT-d like outside PCIE card and for Z77 you need make custom EXSi with backrooled driver for LAN (and on Z77 you can map only RAW or add PCIE card for SATA)

anyway some little improve speed we should see on test + better power management etc.
