  1. I should also add that while it's in the process of installing the image, the web UI is completely frozen. I can't open new windows to the dashboard or anything at all.
  2. Hi everyone. I have started a fresh instance of Unraid. New flash drive, new os, formatted drive arrays.... All this on brand new hardware: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. B650 AORUS ELITE AX , Version x.x American Megatrends International, LLC., Version FCd BIOS dated: Thu 14 Sep 2023 12:00:00 AM PDT AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16-Core @ 4200 MHz Memory: 128 GiB DDR5 40+ TB HHD 3TB Cache Gig internet up/down But when I went to start installing docker apps, the apps will download in 10 seconds and extract, but when it tries to do the actual installation it takes anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes. This is really disappointing and frustrating. Can anyone please help me understand what the issue may be? unraid-diagnostics-20231111-1615.zip
  3. I have new hardware coming in to "replace" or upgrade my current server. 7950X3D 128 DDR5 Same 30 TB of HDD etc... This is replacing an old 1800X AMD and 64GB of DDR4. I was considering repurposing the old server as either a logging server or as a backup should my main server die. Any suggestions? Any anecdotal feedback?
  4. For whatever reason after upgrading to 6.12 (I believe) things started getting slower and slower and slower. Recently it's been so bad that if I update an app or I log in and edit any docker file, it takes literally 10-15 minutes when it used to take less than a minute. I'm so confused and burned out from trying to troubleshoot (not that I know what I'm looking for) that I decided to get some help from here. I've checked shares, appdata, memory, disks, dns, cables, fans, cpu reseat, etc... I know people are busy and it's not their responsibility to make sure other's servers are working but if you have time, I would be grateful. Thanks in advance. preditechs-diagnostics-20230829-0157.zip

  6. Thank you for your help! That solved the problem. Follow up if you don't mind. Should I leave the array as the secondary and the mover action to cache or can I remove that to only have cache as the primary storage and no secondary? Thanks.
  7. Here is the diagnostic's file you requested: Thank you for your time and patience. diagnostics-20230622-1003.zip
  8. Long story short, System and appdata were on the array disk1. I changed the share to cache and manually moved them to the cache pool. On disk1 the two folder remain but are empty. I have tried to delete them after disabling docker and vm but it tells me the folders are in use or there is a process stopping the deletion of the folders. I checked for processes using those folders and there are none. Any suggestions? Fresh install: parity disk1 disk2 disk3 Cache Cache2 Chache3 pool_nvme
  9. Has anyone tried using this as a TFTP server? I have it installed and running on the right ports. However, when I try to get a file from the untracked list using a tftp command, I can't seem to get the file. Example on windows tftp client (firewall configured too): C:\Windows\system32>tftp -i 172.16.0.2 get /assets/test.txt Connect request failed I have also tried without the `/assets/` portion The file is there but can't seem to get it to download from any tftp on any device.... windows 10, cisco wlcs, cisco switches, etc. Any thoughts?

  11. You're more than welcome to contribute to it.... it is free and open source after all. https://github.com/Ombi-app/Ombi How to improve you’re WiFi repeater signal: Step 1: throw repeater in trash. Step 2: never buy a repeater/extender ever again. Step 3: ? Step 4: profit.
  12. I installed and setup the unraid side as well as my Ubiquiti firewall/network. Still no go. Currently getting PXE-E18: server response timeout. The local assets are there. I temporarily disabled my entire firewall just to make sure. Any thoughts? 13. I mean, if you have the money.. may as well just drop a network line for less than the cost of the mesh and commercial grade repeaters. And even with the setup you mentioned, not a good solution. Not with the available tech today. How to improve you’re WiFi repeater signal: Step 1: throw repeater in trash. Step 2: never buy a repeater/extender ever again. Step 3: ? Step 4: profit.
  14. I’d rather have people use power line adapters. But people understand WiFi better than power line adapters by name so... How to improve you’re WiFi repeater signal: Step 1: throw repeater in trash. Step 2: never buy a repeater/extender ever again. Step 3: ? Step 4: profit.
  15. As a wireless professional, this murdered my soul a bit. Don’t use WiFi repeaters. Just don’t. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. I can appreciate you comment. And I understand the demand for other features. But I maintain that API should have been (always) at the top of the priority list. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Yes... soon TM. I have seen that many times but not roadmaps or posts about it which leads me to believe it’s not priority. Believe me me when I say I don’t mean to come off the wrong way. I’m just perplexed it’s taken so long to start implementing an API for unraid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. I am very disappointed API is not on here unless it's already seriously in development.
  21. I hate to be one of those "demanding" type of users, but I was curious if there was going to be a V4 update or a separate docker container altogether?
  22. I had ssh enabled on a certain port (not 22) and saw there were thousands of login attempts. Probably bruteforce... Not sure it has anything to do with it but I disabled it. See if it helps.
