  1. Thanks, your suggestion helped a lot, from there I had a jumbled mess of albums in no particular order and my folder structure was completely gone. I found a setting in the Web gui ->libraries'>display->Display a folder view to show plain media folders. That got rid of most of the mess and partly restored my folder structure, but I am still missing some key folders from the "/music/" folder. I've added a list of how it lookes when opened on a computer so you can see the structure. This network music streamer reads that structure perfectly from my other NAS. So the /music/ folder contains: /Albums /My Mixes /Old Stuff /Random Stuff /Singles How the network streamer is seeing it: /Albums (this seems to be almost correct, but still oddities) /I Wish EP (see below) /A Million Dreams (See Below) /My Mixes (this seems OK) /Volume 1 (Empty dir) The only folders displayed when entering the /music/ folder via upnp/DLNA is the /Albums folder and the /My Mixes folder. The others are completely missing and replaced with random folders with random names and random content. For example, one folder with an image as its icon is called /I Wish EP and inside that there are hundreds of random music files from different artists. There's also a folder called /Volume one with a picture icon and nothing inside and finally another picture icon for an old album of the wife's called /A Million Dreams, and inside it are the contents of the /Random Stuff folder I mentioned above! How can i fix this please? Thanks. Edit: Also, in the /Albums folder, the folder structure is almost correct, but there are a number of random album folders that have a picture icon instead of a folder icon and they have had the name of the folder changed from the artist to the title of the album, so they are now in a different location in the list. My structure goes like this... /Albums/Artist/AlbumName Edit2: Found a place in the web gui->metadata manager where I can manually edit the folder names for the incorrectly renamed folders. Would be good to know why they are wrong and how to avoid that in the future, though.
  2. Edit: Added the path, but nothing showing up when using a upnp device, DNLA is enabled in the web ui. The device can see Jellyfin -UNRAID server and I can open that, it leads to a a folder called Music, which then leads to a more folders that are not mine... latest, playlists, albums, album artists, artists, songs, genres, favourite artists, favourite albums, favourite songs. How can I get rid of all those folders that are not mine and just have jellyfin open in my /mnt/disk2/Music folder without all the excess folders? Thanks.
  3. How do I enter the correct path so jellyfin can see my music folder so that a DLNA device can play music files? My path to the music folder is /mnt/disk2/Music but if I enter that when setting up a library, it says path could not be found when I try and save it. Can anyone help please?
  4. Thanks. Just heard back from Asus, the P11C-I does not support wake on LAN. Seems an odd thing to leave out on a mini itx server board that has a lot of different sleep settings, but no way to wake it up. I think I will return it and get the Supermicro.
  5. Thanks for the replies, it would seem that the PCIE wake up is what I need to enable. I will give it a go later.
  6. Thanks. It's an Asus server board, but there's no WOL setting in the BIOS, oddly enough, I've been through it a few times looking, there's nothing in the online manual relating to WOL or wake on lan, the only things related to waking up are for PCIE. I found an article to enable it on my router and also this https://wiki.unraid.net/Setup_Sleep_(S3)_and_Wake_on_Lan_(WOL) But nothing for the BIOS on my board, unfortunately. I'll email Asus and see if they know.
  7. I'm also having trouble with the S3 plugin. I have posted elsewhere on here but nobody has helped me out. I want my server to sleep when not in use, fans spun down, drives spun down, but can be woken up by a computer or device trying to access the server. Is the S3 plugin what I need? If I enable it, it does indeed put the server to sleep, but it will not wake up again and is completely unresponsive. The fans are spinning very slowly and it sounds like the drives are spun down, but nothing wakes it up, keyboard presses, mouse movement, there's no web guide access and the screen for the server is blank. I have to keep the power button pressed to get it to even power off. This only happens with the S3 plugin enabled. The S3 states and enhanced states are enabled in my BIOS. I can do screenshots if required? Sorry if these are obvious questions and problems, but I'm new to Unraid/linux etc. Specs are: Unraid 6.7.2 S3 Plugin 3.0.6 i3 9100F Asus P11C-I board 16GB 2400Mhz ECC 3x Ironwolf 4TB\1x 4TB Barracuda 512GB 970 Pro NVMe drive Kingston data traveller 16GB Any help, much appreciated, thanks.
  8. I'm trying to get the fan control working on an Asus P11C-i, but it won't detect anything, nothing happens when I click detect. Is there a certain way to do this? Also, in the BIOS, there are 3 settings for the fans, maximum which is obviously loud, auto which is somewhere in the middle and manual which lets you specify a value, but the values don't seem to correspond to anything, just enter a number, rather than an RPM or value between 0-20. None of those settings seems to have any effect on the detection in fan control in Unraid. Can anyone help me out please?
  9. Hello, I'm, looking to try Plex, the free version, could anyone tell me what the difference is between this and the non-binhex version please? Edit: Doesn't matter, I'd forgotten how much I disliked Plex!
  10. Thanks, yes it all seems to have worked.
  11. I think I've done it, is there a way to verify that I have done it correctly, since there's no BIOS for the card now?
  12. Hello, I've been going round in circles all day trying to Flash a Perc H200, partly because of my own lack of knowledge, but also missing steps and info from many of the guides, this guide seems to have helped the most, but I keep arriving back at the same place with a bricked (or non functioning at least) card. Ready to throw it out of the window, so thought I'd ask here before I do! My motherboard has a UEFI BIOS. The H200 was working prior to this, in so much as it was detected and I could enter the BIOS. When running the .nsh files, it gets to a point where it says the card is not operational and that a firmware download is required. Enter the file name of it or enter to continue (Or something along these lines). I kind of thought the batch files would have done this, but it didn't, each time, it would just jump to the next step and nothing would happen. In the end, I added the H200A firmware to that same directory and pointed it at that and it worked. Then it would say skip step 4. then it says to run 5_DELL_IT\51ITDELL.nsh It took me a while to figure out how to change directory in a shell and I managed to get that part done and then ran 6.nsh and that brought me back to the error message saying that the card is not operational and a firmware update is needed. What do I do here, please? I can't see any info for the UEFI BIOS regarding this. Can anyone help a shell noob out please?
