  1. So i deleted the step file and now it just says update in progress. i ran "updater.phar" in the terminal and just get "Step 6 is currently in process. Please call this command later." Did i delete the wrong one... and i 100% dont have a /data folder
  2. Please ignore me... i dont have a /data folder..... but i did manage to figure out that this stupid .step file is a hidden file and for some reason my checkbox was unchecked to see them. thank you for the help.
  3. So i have gone through every folder that has to do with Nextcloud... and never found what you are tell me i should see. is there a chance that my "/data" folder could be called something else?
  4. Thanks for the response and sorry for the super later comment back (work is a killer and keeping me away). So i went and found the "randomhash" location but didnt find the .step file. i have found a backups and downloads folder in there both of which also dont contain a .step file. I also noticed that i have 2 backups in the backup folder, which i thought was a little odd and the image below shows what is in the downloads folder. Let me know if i missed something. Thanks.
  5. Good Afternoon, So against my better judgement I decided to update from NC20 to NC21. Upon doing so I have been stuck on step 6 for about 2 weeks or so. this is all I get when I try and do anything: or this from the browser.... I'm not sure what else to do seeing I can no longer access the system and this thing will not finish updating. I did get to, for the first time ever, update from inside nextcloud which was different than accidently updating my dock and having to figure out how to get things working again… Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.
  6. i also noticed that when i click about it just get a blank blue screen. when i checked the log i get the following error: [no app in context] Warning: Invalid data provided to provideInitialState by files GET /apps/files/ from x by x at 2021-03-05T22:42:02+00:00 This this might be an issue as well.

  9. So still no word on this.... Any chance anyone is able to share some incite?
  10. I decided to google a bunch of stuff and typed this into my terminal for my docker... docker exec -it nextcloud updater.phar Turns out i am on the latest version of Nextcloud but still cant figure out why i cant get to the system settings. i have also looked at the occ list to see if it was disabled and it is in fact enabled... i have run out of ideas.
  11. It seems that this is becoming more and more of an issue. Any chance anyone has figure out how to fix this? i get it while trying to access settings-system...
  12. i also noticed that group folders was removed from the system.... any chance that is coming back. it made things really nice for my family to share only what needed to be shared to different people
