Is there no way to stop the server from updating or grabbing the latest? apparently .102 is not supported by the client side of the game and therefore i cant play on my server because all clients are .101 Any idea how to role back my server or just install a .101 server?

is there a way to pick a specific version of bedrock to build and stay on? i noticed that the build wants to use latest but the bedrock 1.21.102 client side doesnt exist and therefore stops me from accessing my server. is there a way to revert back to the .101 version of start a new server that is .101 instead of the latest version?

should i delete the files in the user/appdata folder.... seeing the game should be looking at the cache? isnt the point of the mover to move the info from the cache drive to the array.... shouldnt that not interfer with the game seeing the game is pointed at the cache? Also should i have 2 things under saves?

its all good. the issue, so i think was the issue, is that my appdata somehow (i was screwing around with setting and its 100% my fault), was getting overwritten by my array. i was since fixed that so that the appdata folder in my shares is cache only and would not be messed with. i have a backup plugin that copies the appdata folder on the cache to the array once a week as a just in case kind of thing.

well saving is all done server side i would assume seeing its the palworld docker that im using..... so im not sure how to answer that

okay it happened again in palworld. i just lost over a weeks worth of shit.... like 40hrs of play without flinching. why do it keep reverting back to a super old save, its not showing any errors when i look at the logs. the only thing that is happening is i noticed a odd glitch with a pal so when i was done playing last night i restarted the docker to see if it would clear it out. now it reverted to early last week progress. what is going on?

i think i figured out the issue. for some reason my appdata share was set to cache<array i have no idea why and i must have done this recently seeing i have never had an issue. the docker has been installed since i think you released it so i think its just me at this point. thanks for explaining how to use the backups. i think that might be the route i take to only lose a few hours of game play instead of days. once again this is my fault and not the docker. still loving all your work. thanks for the quick reply.

Hello again. i seem to have stumbled into an issue with the palworld docker. i dont have any errors but it seems the past 24hr or so of game play, has disappeared. i have a backup from yesterday around 13:00 which i think will be a better place them where it "restarted itself". i stopped playing when i noticed an npc missing, exited the game, and restarted the server. when i did that i spawned not in the last place i was and with maybe 8-10hrs of game play gone. Any help would be appreciated. all else fails im just looking to understand how to load a backup file. thanks.

well part of my issue was i was using the RUST id instead of the dedicated server id.... the new issue is it states that i have no subscription, which im confused seeing i own the game. is there something that im missing?

So i deleted the step file and now it just says update in progress. i ran "updater.phar" in the terminal and just get "Step 6 is currently in process. Please call this command later." Did i delete the wrong one... and i 100% dont have a /data folder
