Barryrod
I am running Plex in my Docker. I installed an SSD M2 drive to use as an Appdata drive for Plex, and have it as an Unassigned Device. When running plex, I get an warning alarm for High Temp (45C) for that drive. I read that SSDs will run hotter and the threshold should be higher for it. I want to change the threshold for that drive but there is no option. I know how to do it for the drives in the array, but there is no option for the unassigned devices drive. Anyone know where else to look? Quote Link to comment
trurl
UD uses the default settings in Settings - Disk Settings. You can change those defaults, and then set different values for each of your assigned disks. Quote Link to comment
Barryrod
I had thought about doing that but hoped there was another way I just could not see. Thank You Quote Link to comment
dlandon
Or, upgrade to 6.9 and move the disk to the Pool. You'll then have all the settings for temperatures you want. Quote Link to comment
