It is not permitted to include the MS Marketplace in code-server, see the FAQ here, having said that if you live in a country with no copyright laws or want to take the risk and go ahead then you can enable MS Marketplace by doing the following:-

1. left click the container and select edit

2. click on ' Add another Path, Port, Variable, Label or Device'

3. select config type 'variable'

4. set the 'key' to be 'ENABLE_MS_EXTENSIONS_GALLERY'

5. click 'add'

6. click 'apply'.

can you give me some steps for reproducing the error? its difficult for me to know what the cause is due to plethora of extensions for vs code.

Blank Screen Problem

Hi - I make use of the binhex/arch-code-server in UNRAID 7.0 plus Patches.

It worked prior to 7 .... I did not change any parameter after the upgrade to 7,
BUT: After entering the Password, I only see a blank screen (a blank browser window to be more precise) .... I also tried lscr.io/linuxse...server with the same effect.

 

Any thoughts or suggestions ? The log does not show any suspicious message ?!?!?

 

UPDATE:

This seams to be a known issue:

After switching to prior release the blank screen probem is gone ... so I will wait.

try clearing cookies, try a different browser.

I also have permission issues as well. For example on the matrix docker, the permission user/groups is changed and code-server is unable to view/edit these files. Is there a way around this or to add additional users/groups?

im running this container myself, using latest with no blank screen issue so it's not affecting everyone.

I'm trying to setup the code-server with nginx-proxy-manager but I'm having issues. I have set the crt and key values in docker to be blank and set self-signed to no and can access code-server locally. Once I forward in npm it states SSL Handshake Failed Error 525.

 

I'm using the CloudFlare certificates on all my other services that are running through NPM. I'm only having issues on code-server

if it works locally then the issue is not with the container, i would advise asking on the support thread for nginx proxy manager.
