TStavley
I have added a rootshare via setting>SMB>SMB Extras. [rootshare] path = /mnt/user comment = browseable = yes valid users = me write list = me vfs objects = I can see it on a windows PC via file explorer, but i can not get it to mount to my other unraid server. What am i missing here? Quote Link to comment
JonathanM
I strongly recommend NOT doing this. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? There may be a better way of getting it done. Quote Link to comment
TStavley
i was following spaceinvader one tutorial for tdarr, but can not get the rootshare to mount, and there wasnt a clear direction other than his was already there. Quote Link to comment
Squid
Probably credential issue. I just tried it with a share that I've created via SMB-Extra and can mount it no problems on a secondary Unraid server. Your syslog would probably state why it won't mount Quote Link to comment
TStavley
I’m such a DA, I was putting in a / before rootshare, which was creating a //rootshare causing my issue. Thanks for your help!! Quote Link to comment
