Hi guys,

Thanks to you I successfully upgraded from 6.6.5 to 6.9.2.

I wanted to install Jellyfin and start streaming to mobile devices.

Alas, I have a problem with /dev/dri missing.

searching what it was about, I found this is due to the hardware encoding acceleration not being enabled.

I found this thread :

But I can't manage to enable this feature.

I installed Intel-GPU-TOP, but it doesn't seems to help.

I touched the i915.conf file to create it in /boot/config/modprobe.d/

no change

I created the directory /dev/dri myself.

It doesn't help.

my hardware is :

SuperMicro X10SLM-F  (4 SATA 6.0Gbs + 2 SATA 3.0Gbs)

3x Supermicro AOC-SAS2LP-MV8

Core™ i3-4130T CPU @ 2.90GHz

16 GB RAM (upgradable to 32GB)

LAN speed is 1Gb/s

a monitor is plugged in the VGA port of the motherboard.

Do you know what to do to fix my problem ?

How can I figure if something is missing in my setting or configuration ?

I really don't understand how to enable the intel support.

I thought it would be simple, but I can't find the How-to and the different threads are not really helping.

Here I join the syslog, if someone can teach me something maybe obvious ?

I am in the same boat, I cannot enable Intel Quick Sync. I have an Intel i7-12700K on an ASRcok PG Riptide. I have made sure that the integrated GPU is set instead of "Auto". I have installed the Intel GPU Top. I have tried adding  "isolcpus=2-11 acpi_enforce_resources=lax i915.force_probe=4680" to the Syslinux Config. I have run "touch /boot/config/modprobe.d/i915.conf". Nothing is able to get this working. I have rebooted after each change. Still no dice. Please help! I am at the end of the rope and am about to ditch Unraid and go back to Windows.
