Stri
hi, i'm using sata and usb unassigned devices - and it would be really nice, to have the information of the source of it (SATA/USB/...) in the main tab. Thanks! Edited January 23, 2022 by Stri Quote Link to comment
Squid
Probably best to post in the Unassigned Devices thread so that @dlandon can see it 1 Quote Link to comment

Thanks! In the short term you can run this command on the command line. root@computenode:~# lsscsi -t [0:0:0:0] disk usb:2-1.4:1.0 /dev/sda [0:0:0:1] disk usb:2-1.4:1.0 /dev/sdb [1:0:0:0] disk usb:1-5.1:1.0 /dev/sdc [2:0:0:0] disk usb:1-13.3:1.0 /dev/sdd [3:0:0:0] disk usb:1-9.2:1.0 /dev/sde [4:0:0:0] disk usb:1-13.4:1.0 /dev/sdf [5:0:0:0] disk usb:1-9.4:1.0 /dev/sdg [10:0:0:0] disk sata:ATA ST96812AS 5PJ79HT4 /dev/sdh [N:0:1:1] disk pcie 0xc0a9:0x540a /dev/nvme0n1 Quote Link to comment
dlandon
Getting the source of the device is not an issue. There is very limited real estate on the main UD page to display it though, so I'll probably have to put it in the device settings. A simple click of the thee gears would get you there. It'll be in the next release. It is best to post in the UD thread so I will be sure to get a notification of your request. I don't always see these other posts. Luckily @Squid pointed it out to me.
