I did screw up...

 

I thought it needed to be unassigned when this xfs_repair is done. I did put Maintainance mode after on as the guide suggested.

 

So my only option is to rebuild it again?

That or do a new config and check "parity is already valid", you'll still need to run a correcting parity check, this option will also require for you to fix the filesystem gain, since you fixed the fs on the emulated disk, probably easy to just rebuild, IF the emulated disk is mounting correctly, to check that first unassign disk5 again and start the array in normal mode.

Looks like the out of tree driver added for rc4 does not work well with your quad port card.

 

Suggest that you raise a bug report giving details of the card in pre releases for @limetechto review.
