May 18, 20224 yr Hi Guys, I'm a new UNRAID user but have upgraded my license and purchased an LSI SAS card to install severall more drives. Currently I have 3 X 8TB with one being the parity drive and all running from the MOBO's internal SATA controller. When the LSI card arrives is there anything I need to take note or do when swapping them over? Or should I leave the current drives on the SATA controller and only plug the new ons in to the SAS card? Any advice would be appreciated.
May 18, 20224 yr Solution Unraid assigns drives by Serial Number. The position on one controller or another is not important.
