rarebeary
Hi there, I recentely ran this command openssl req -new -key server.key -out server.csr in order to get a server.key and server.csr file, but I am having trouble locating where it is located. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks, rarebeary Quote Link to comment
ljm42
The files would be in whatever directory you were in when you ran the command. If you are trying to add SSL to the Unraid webgui, Unraid will manage that for you. See https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Security#Securing_webGui_connections_.28SSL.29 Quote Link to comment
rarebeary
Hi ljm42, Thanks for the help, I was able to find the file. I'm trying to setup a hostname with an SSL so that my friends can join my game servers through an address securely. However, it still doesn't seem like the unRaid is picking up the certificate and connecting to No-IP, or viceversa. After doing some research, would you say a Reverse Proxy would be the best way to get this to work? Quote Link to comment

A domain name pointing to your WAN IP, and forwarding the correct ports through your firewall is typically what you need. If your WAN IP is not directly routable, or your ISP has firewalls in place that you can't open, then hosting a game server may not be possible. Quote Link to comment
