Machine Check Event on Fix Common Problems plugin and couple of other problems

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I've been running my server for the past few days and it's been going alright so far.

However, I've been having couple of issues that I can't seem to wrap my head around.

First is the Machine Check Event. I followed the steps to get the syslog, which I've attached, so if someone with more trained eyes can look at it, that would help me a lot.

Second is the issue with the array keeps dismounting. Whenever I log off the webgui, the array gets dismounted and I'd have to start and stop parity checks in order for the drives to be mounted (and when I do that, it'll say parity is valid) Under the array operation it shows Stopped. Unclean shutdown detected. As far as I understand, I've never force shut it down. I've done parity checks at least 3 times now and it keeps unmounting.

Third is that I can't seem to get the Wireguard working on the client side. I followed the SpaceInvaderOne's video and have everything set up on the server side no problem, but after downloading the wireguard app, scanning the QR code created from the peer page, the phone cannot connect at all. Whenever I try to connect, I get 'error bringing tunnel: VPN service not authorized by user' message. I haven't tweaked any settings at all and I've followed the video exactly and yet, I keep having that problem.

Last is Nextcloud issue. Again, I've followed SpaceInvaderOne's video and at webui, creating the admin account and setting the database up, after clicking install button, I get internal server error. I just can't understand what the problem could be.

If anyone has any pointers or tips, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Edit: Figured out second and third problem. Wireguard problem was the dumbest, as I had another VPN service profile up which blocked Wireguard. Once I deleted that profile and was able to turn on Wireguard.

Thanks. I poked around on the BIOS but the only relevant setting I see is the global c-state. Which I've set it to disable. That should be the same one or similar as power supply idle setting?

As well, does changing ACPI suspend to RAM to disable do much difference? It was on auto by default.

My motherboard is Asrock B450 Pro.
