Hello everyone,

i have set up a fresh install of Unraid with an array of 4 Drives+1Parity+1Cache. I also have a 1Gbs connection to the server, but after like 15 minutes i get non measurble transfer speeds like shown in picture down below. I have also tried without parity drive, without cache, other system also same issue. Also Turbo Write doesnt change a thing. No dockers are running just file transfer from a Win10 Machine. Sys Log files are also down below.

Please HELP me i dont know what is wrong with my server.

There is a lot of this in your log:

This is most likely causing your slow transfers.

Couple of things to try:

  • Turn off the macOs Interoperability and see if that makes any difference.  I doubt it will.
  • Use Tips and Tweaks to adjust disk caching.  If you left the defaults, you're probably OK.
  • Replace your NIC or add a NIC..  You are using s Realtek NIC and they are known to be troublesome with Linux because the drivers are not well maintained.

Disks 1 and 2 are SMR, and from a model known so sometimes perform very slow, if you still don't have parity assigned make a share use disk 3 only, since that one in not SMR, and re-test.

This does not help me out.

I need to transfer about 12 TB of Data and Disk 3 is only 3TB

It will help confirm if the SMR disks are the problem, if they are obviously you'd need to get non SMR disks for better performance.

So i Have tried to copy direct to disk 3 and it works perfectly.

I also tried to disk 2 (8TB) and it works aswell

Why is it not working when i'm writing to the array?

I have tried as you said a disk share to only drive 3 (CMR) which works perfectly fine i get like 100Mbis read/write (limitet through ethernet). Then i tried a disk share to Drive 2 (SMR) and it also worked like drive 3. Only when i write to the array of drives then it doesnt work see the first picture. Sometime transferspeed is good then after like 10minutes it drops to 0.
