I'm using un UNRAID system to store my date, and I have to of my drives that are showing an increase on Reallocated Sector Count. Got the HDD out, done an extended test, a surface test, read and write test and got no errors. itimpi Posted December 26, 2023 Share Posted December 26, 2023 Reallocated sectors are never a good sign - particularily if they keep increasing. i notice you have been doing the Short SMART test - that does not really test much of the dtive. You really need to run the Extended SMART test to properly test the drive.. Quote Link to comment

One question: I have a zpool 6 hdd, I keep on it my media (movies) pictures, but the HDD doesn't spin down ( set the default time to 15 minutes), the Array HDD are spining down, but the pool are not. Can i fix this? I have a separat cash pool for the apps and thing that need to aces the hdd apps Quote Link to comment
