crazycam425
I have 2 hard drives, that used to be in my array that unraid won't see now. Both drives are working with no smart errors and show up in unassigned devices when connected to unraid through a sata to usb adapter. However, when the drives are plugged directly into the motherboard or LSI controller they will not be seen by unraid. I ran a pre clear on each of the 2 disks while they were plugged into the sata to usb adapter and unraid still will not recognize them when they are plugged into the motherboard. Any ideas? itimpi
Are they by any chance shucked drives? If so they may have the 3.3v SATA issue. Quote Link to comment
crazycam425
Question: What is a shucked drive? These drives were in unraid since new and have been working fine for years. Recently I had other unraid issues and had to create a new config and that's when they stopped being seen by unraid. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Are they detected in the board BIOS when connected to the onboard SATA? Quote Link to comment
