NFS shares stop working beyond 6.12.9

Featured Replies

Upgraded to 6.12.14 and NFS shares were inaccessible immediately after reboot, if anything its worse. Downgraded back to 6.12.9 and everything is working again.

I am using unraid 7 rc2

I am able to mount my external Synology, and if I click on the browse remote share, I can see all the files. However, when I go into a docker and look for /remotes, it does not exist.

What exactly do you mean? Are you trying to map a UD remote mount to a container volume or what?

I am trying to setup my Synology NAS as a remote NFS or SMB share. In the past with previous versions of unraid, this has worked with no problem. In my plex docker, I map the drive path under /remotes.

After updating unraid to the latest stable release, and having no luck, I upgraded to the ver 7 rc2 and still have trouble. I use unsigned devices to mount the shares as I have in the past. Once mounted, if I click the mount point link I can see all of the files. But, when I go into the docker to map them, the /remotes does not exist and I can't see the mounted share.

I don't think it is anything I have done, as I left all the settings the same. And if I use settings > unassigned devices > remote server test, it results with "* remote server online for NFS

So I am not sure if I am missing something, or if I need to go back to a previous version of unraid.

You may want to repost in the UD plugin support thread with the diags in case Dan misses this one, also recommend trying 7.0.0 sable once it's once, which should be very soon, since it includes more NFS fixes.

Any update on version 7 and NFS?  I see the stable version dropped today.

We believe we have resolved the NFS issues.

Can anyone comment if this issue was fixed with version 7?
