Hi all,

I'm dealing with a cache full error.

I tried running mover but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

 

Can someone please take a look at my logs and help me figure out what is going on? Thanks!

Uninstall the mover tuning plugin and try running it again.

I uninstalled it and rebooted but mover still will not run.

enable mover logging and post the log after running mover.

 

Settings > Scheduler > Mover Settings

Appdata is trying to move files from disk to the pool, but failing since it's full, post the name of the share(s) that you expected to me moved from the pol to the array.

I only have appdata and system set to be moved from the array to cache.

 

The downloads share is set to move from cache to array.

The question was about which shares are set to move from cache to array.

 

Looks like these shares have files on cache, but are not set to be moved:

d--a                              shareUseCache="no"      # Share exists on disk1, cache
n-------d                         shareUseCache="no"      # Share exists on disk1, cache

And Fix Common Problems has been telling you exactly that:

Set data and nextcloud shares to

Primary:cache; Secondary:array; Mover action:cache->array

 

appdata can't be moved until those others have been moved to make room. So for now, set appdata to Secondary:none

Then run mover and post new diagnostics when it finishes

That sounds right and the easiest way to proceed.

Thanks. Mover cleared out most of the data. Here is the latest log file:

Nothing can move open files, so you have to go to Settings - Docker and disable Docker.

 

Set appdata share to Primary:cache; Secondary:array; Mover action:array->cache

 

Then run mover, post new diagnostics when it finishes.

appdata still has files on the array. Mover won't overwrite files, so if something is already there it won't be moved.

 

What do you get from command line with this?

ls -lah -mnt/disk1/appdata

I'm getting an error with that command:

/bin/ls: invalid option -- '/'

I think it should be /mnt/disk1/appdata

Examine the Vorta folder in both places and decide which to keep. If you want to keep the one on cache, delete the one on disk1. If you want to keep the one on disk1, delete the one on cache and run mover to get the one on disk1 moved over to cache.

Ok I deleted the one on disk1.

The appdata folder is down to 15gb. Here is one last diagnostic. Do you all have any recommendations as to best practices for my settings? Thank you all so much for the help!
