July 17, 2025Jul 17 We’re excited to officially welcome Chris Tram (aka @TidalBuzz ) to the Unraid team as our newest Senior Software Engineer. Chris joins us with a rich background that blends curiosity, creativity, and technical depth. Like many in the Unraid community, his journey started in the early days of the consumer internet—dial-up tones, web rings, and shareware games all included. That same spirit of tinkering eventually led him into Linux, open source, and ultimately, a career in full-stack development.Chris will be working on the Cloud & API team, helping to shape the future of Unraid in meaningful ways. His initial focus will be on:Enhancing the Unraid Account websiteImproving the UI/UX of the Unraid productSupporting the development of the Unraid APIHe’s based in the San Francisco Bay Area where he lives with his partner and their dogs.
