I'll update the plugin soon to use mono 3.4 and put in a backup link using heffe2001's mirrors.

Ok so for sure mono is not installed.

First, are you running the right plugin for your unraid version?  Unraid 5 and Unraid 6 use different dependencies (see opening post).

Next, check on your usb stick in the /packages/ folder and see if you have mono.3.2.8....txz file in there, and delete it. Might be a bad download.

After that, open the plugin and grab the download link for Mono, and download it to your desktop and copy it over to that packages folder.

You can then reboot Unraid, or install it with "installplg /boot/packages/mono-3.2.8...txz" (fill in the proper file name) and it will install.

PhAze you have a link to all the plugins you have converted to 64bit, thanks again for helping the community out.

I'll be upgrading the plugin in a few days with a version I've setup on github that can be updated from within the plugin. It iwll use mono 3.4 (newer more stable) with backup links in case the mono files can't be reache don drop box.  It will also notify you when there is an update for drone available in case you don't want to update from within the program itself for some reason.

Also a plugin for MediaBrowser 3 will be finished soon (hopefully) for anyone interested.

Phaze thanks for help new one worked. Now on to setting up...is there a easy way to migrate from sick to drone?

This is actually my first plugin.

My hats to all you that take time to develop them for the rest of us.

Plugin's working just fine so far, except for the usual "Unable to get free space for: /: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" warning which isn't really an issue anyway. Thanks for the update Phaze :D

Yeah thats something the dev of the program needs to sort out still.  If you're running plugin 1.2 you should notice an "update available" notification in the plugin GUI whenever an update comes out, hit stop, then update, to update the app.

The Dev will not fix it, because to him its not broken, Dragonfyre had a great write up on nzbdrone's forums. essentially the reason you get that is because unRaid does not have a root (/) or (c drive if you will). everything is loaded into ram and the USB stick only holds config files. So when drone boots it can find the root and it gives you that error.

So I'm fairly new to both unRAID as well as NZBDrone.

Would this be the appropriate setup to utilize it on an SSD appdrive mounted outside the array?

Does anything look amiss?

Thanks,

Looks ok but I wouldn't run it as root. Run it as "nobody" that way you can't have it accidentally mess up the os in any way.

Also its OK to leave the install directory at /use/local/nzbdrone as that will install it to Ram. Runs a little faster and your app reinstalls each boot which helps keep it clean, just make sure your config directory is not on ram (as it looks to be now). Typically you don't need the app install to be persistent.

So switch root to nobody, got it.

I'm a little confused as to /use/local/nzbdrone?

Also are you saying my config directory is currently on ram or is currently not?

I apologize for the naive questions, first time going through all of this.

Thanks for the help and feedback!

Edit: Also I'm a bit confused where to set my drone factory too.  Should I set it to the array 'TV' share or a folder on the appdisk SSD outside the array and then have it moved?

Config directory is good. That is not on ram and will keep data after boot.

Your install should be as stated above.

Your drone should point to the folder/category folder that Sabnzbd puts your completed downloads for tv shows. Do not point it yo the tv show folder on array. The drone folder is the processing/moving folder of done downloads.

Okay, thanks for the information and help!

Having a bit of trouble connecting the different usenet applications.  I'm starting with NZBDrone since my focus is TV shows.

For example I'm trying to create a NZBGet folder for NZBDrone to drop files into: /mnt/appdisk/nzbget/tv

Getting a path does not exist error, not sure if I could view the appdisk in the windows explorer to create these folders?

The appdisk is an external SSD mounted outside the array.  Thoughts?

nzbdrone forums down? Seems to try to download a file when accessed any way.

I don't understand the question. The plugin checks for the latest version of the app and plugin when the page is opened, perhaps you mean that is not working?  If so, i'll see about adding a timeout to prevent any long loading times, but it should take only a second or two max.

Hi.

I get this error when trying to install

installing plugin: nzbdrone

file /boot/packages/mono-3.4.0-i486-1sl.txz: downloading from --no-check-certificate https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/52649026/mono/mono-3.4.0-i486-1sl.txz ... That error is ok, it means that the dropbox certificate is not 'verified' but it still downloads and installs the mono txz file. Since it downloads with WGET I have it ignoring certificate checks, since HTTPS usually causes problems with WGET and certificates that are expired or unverified.

It can be ignored, so long as you are still getting it installed successfully.

It got to that error last night and froze, I'll try again tonight hopefully it's ok.
