July 2, 201412 yr Author What is the current state? Does it say it is installed but won't start? Is it working but it's the wrong version? You can try going to command line and typing: /etc/rc.d/rc.nzbdrone install To see if that helps.
July 2, 201412 yr I updated from version 1617 to 1632 without any issue through the Web GUI using your plugin
July 2, 201412 yr What is the current state? Does it say it is installed but won't start? Is it working but it's the wrong version? You can try going to command line and typing: /etc/rc.d/rc.nzbdrone install To see if that helps. It worked fine for a few weeks and then I decided to restart my server. Since then, it shows up on the config page as NOT INSTALLED and when I hit the button to install it, it refreshes the page and it still says NOT INSTALLED. It flashes this "Latest nzbdrone version is 2.0.0.1632, downloading deb from http://update.nzbdrone.com/repos/apt/debian/pool/main/n/nzbdrone/nzbdrone_2.0.0.1632_all.deb with MD5 of f4d8b5bcdc35bcbb15e947e00823d587" at the bottom of the page and then says OK, but it goes back to NOT INSTALLED.

I get the same thing if its a fresh install. I manually installed the extracted deb fine.
July 2, 201412 yr I get the same thing if its a fresh install. I manually installed the extracted deb fine. I'm a complete linux noob. After I extract the deb, what do I do? I'm seeing a bunch of dll files which I thought was used for Windows.

July 3, 201412 yr Author I'll have a look today at some point. It's weird because a fresh install worked when I tested it just two days ago. Which version of unraid are you guys using?
July 3, 201412 yr 5.0.4 or 5.0.5 with unmenu,Dynamix, and sabnzbd. Is there a log from the plugin i can check? Like the other user said, it just goes through the motions and says, yea its updated and good to go, but it never did anything.
July 3, 201412 yr I'm still on 5.0, waiting for the mythical 5.0.6 release that was supposed to come months ago.
July 3, 201412 yr Author Like 5.0 or 5.0.5? I don't think there is a 5.0.6 coming, aren't they just working on 6.x now? Anyways, I'll have a look on a fresh VM to see if I get that same problem or not.
July 3, 201412 yr Author Specifically, check for gcc and gcc-g++ packages in your boot/packages folder. Those packages break AR which is used to extract the deb file. You can delete those, normally they are installed as optional packages with unmenu. They are used to compile programs but on unraid that is something you want to avoid anyways. Delete those of they are there, reboot, try to install it again.
July 3, 201412 yr 5.0.6 is suppose to be "final" and just 5.0.5 with the new gui. Im still holding my breath its coming out anytime soon. I wouldnt mind upgrading to 6 beta, but it seems there are massive changes with each release, and i cant "fix" myself in linux very well. Still my server is an i3 with 4 gig of ram, wonder if it would faster...

This is what I have in boot/packages: I'm running uTorrent Server, Sabnzbd, Sickbeard, and APC UPS.
July 3, 201412 yr Author Doesn't look like you are running the latest plugin, and you're not using my plugins for sab and sickbeard I can tell mainly because the MONO version you have downloaded is 3.2.8 and my plugin downloads 3.4.0. Python for my sab and sick plugins are 2.7.3. Download the nzbdrone plugin again from here and clear out the items in that packages folder, then reboot your server. The plugins will redownload their packages and you should be good to go. The latest plugin version is 1.5.0
July 3, 201412 yr Ah didnt realize there was a 1.5 release (and 10k bigger). I switched and also switched to your sabnzbd plugin along with getting rid of gcc from unraid. hoping this works.

I didn't restart my server for over 80 days so I guess that's why those packages were so old. Thanks for all of the help, I appreciate it
July 11, 201411 yr binutils makes it fail as it gives a 404 error. Had to point to new version (2.24) to get it to work. Edit: Nevermind, i downloaded the old version of the plugin it seems.
October 3, 201411 yr This may not be the correct place for this, but i figured it was worth a shot. I've been a long time Sickbeard user and just yesterday I switched over to nzbdrone to see how it'd work. I am using the latest phaze plugin and I have it up and running and everything successfully. One problem I am having however, is it is failing to do any of the error handling automatically. I have the error handling enabled, and also have nzbdrone setup to cleanup my sabnzbd queue after completion, and neither seems to be happening. If i manually flag a grab as a failed, it'll blacklist it and proceed as normal. Any thoughts on why it wouldn't be doing these actions automatically? I noticed there is a QUEUE page within nzbdrone, however even after it adds an nzb to sab for me it remains empty, I wonder if this has something to do with it. Any help is greatly appreciated!
October 3, 201411 yr I just installed nzbdrone and I am having a problem importing my tv shows. When i put the whole path to my tv shows in, it shows a folder size of around 400GB even though the folder is much larger and it just sits and says it is searching and never finds anything. If i start manually typing the path it autofills up to /mnt/user and nothing past that. If i simply type /mnt/ it will show all of my disks and /user and nothing else after that. Any ideas what is going on here?

Well, if you play around enough you fix your own problems. I was using both Drone Factory and Completed Download Handling. Apparently I need to only use Completed Download Handling (A newer feature I take it) and all works well!

I have all unraid settings set to default, TVshows is set to public, and nzbdrone runs as nobody. I here shares should not have spaces in them, but i never had a problem. Running 5.0.5
October 16, 201411 yr Author Saw on reddit, one guy was using an older unraid version (not 5.0.5 but a beta version) and when he upgraded it solved the issue. @swells, what version of unraid are you running?
October 19, 201411 yr Is there a "how to install this plugin for idiots" post anywhere? I'm currently running NZBdrone and SaBnzbd on my desktop and have it copy everything to the unRAID server. It would be nice to run both of these on the unRAID box, but I can't seem to find instructions written for someone that has no clue where to start.
