Can you ping github from your unRAID?

ping github.com

  • Author

yes

boot/config/plugins# ping github.com

PING github.com (192.30.252.128) 56(84) bytes of data.

64 bytes from ip1a-lb3-prd.iad.github.com (192.30.252.128): icmp_req=1 ttl=49 time=54.1 ms

I'm getting the same error on all plugins I try to load. Anyone have any idea why?

Nob here, first setup and getting the same error.  Able to ping gethub fine, but get the ssl error regardless as to what plugin I try to load

What version unraid.  I would try phaze's version of your plugins.  You could also try removing --no-check-certificate from your plugin.

I had the same problem yesterday using 5.05 when trying to install the Influencer sabnzbd, sickbeard, and couchpotato plugins.  I haven't tried removing the -no-check-certificate yet, or Phaze's plugins.

It wont work because of gethub.com has no security cert and wget or even curl wont do the job. Heres the scripts i fixed its downloads the pgn image files off my own web host. This issue comes up daily i will make a thread and the mods can sticky till the man behind the plugins finds a new host and updates the plugins. It pretty simple to edit the plugs and set /mnt/cache ect for the image files though.

please note i have set the following paths for transmission

incomplete-dir": "/mnt/disk1/incomplete

download-dir": "/mnt/disk1/downloads

you can edit settings.json to set your own paths, i use /mnt/cache/downloads on my rig

ill do the whole set of master plugins tommorow for the mods to sticky i don't mind bandwidth being used off my host lol, i will also do a do a local write up for plugs though it kindia defeats the purpose of plugins if you have to dump image files on your server before installing a plugin lol.

I am experiencing this same issue. I just tried to install  the plugins downloaded from this thread and I am getting an internal server error 500. Does anyone else have a fix for this?

I was able to install using phazes plugins here:
