May 2, 201511 yr I believe it is a xfce problem and vmc. vnc-config isn't loading the icon set. Maybe in the base image? Add: vncconfig -iconic & ? Kryspy

May 2, 201511 yr I am not skilled enough to fully answer. I got plenty of ideas..... no solutions Kryspy
May 2, 201511 yr Author Mine is doing the same Kryspy when this ^^^ is your first post and i can't see any other issues in earlier posts, does lead to me ask what you are talking about.
May 2, 201511 yr Mine is doing the same Kryspy when this ^^^ is your first post and i can't see any other issues in earlier posts, does lead to me ask what you are talking about. Same as jumperalex
May 2, 201511 yr Author Yes sorry should have been more clear. The same as Jumperalex. Kryspy some icons are there and some aren't, weird. look in the source menu for instance, some of the icons are visible, some aren't.
May 2, 201511 yr Author The issue is because this later version of handbrake is a gtk app, openbox doesn't read gtk themes.
May 2, 201511 yr Author Yeah you'd have to add the gtk theme dependencies. Kryspy tried, doesn't work. it seems to have it's own theme.
May 2, 201511 yr Author Yeah you'd have to add the gtk theme dependencies. Kryspy plus, even if they did, 138mb just to have some icons, nah.....
May 2, 201511 yr Author so it's just gonna stay ugly? Mind you i'd rather stick with the updated HB i'm still looking.
May 2, 201511 yr Thank you !!! Is is possible to add to handbrake watch folder capability (input and output)? Maybe there is a way to trigger action with script and cron job?
May 2, 201511 yr Could the logo pack be installed during startup of the container based on an environment setting the user controls? Kind of like how needo has the edge setting in his docker containers for installing latest versions as opposed to stable
May 2, 201511 yr Author Could the logo pack be installed during startup of the container based on an environment setting the user controls? Kind of like how needo has the edge setting in his docker containers for installing latest versions as opposed to stable i'm not sure there is a logo pack for handbrake, from what i can tell so far it appears to have it's own internal theme geared towards gtk environment. however there isn't a wide amount of information about it, desktop type stuff is a dark art at the best of times. i have seen custom icon packs for handbrake but there's no info for what version and no date on the site either to give a clue. perhaps you can make something out of the info here. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Openbox#ObConf
May 2, 201511 yr Author found a dated version of the icon theme http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Handbrake+Faenza+Icon+Theme?content=143182
May 2, 201511 yr Author apt-get install gnome-themes-standard 25MB awesome, will put in build. thanks.
May 2, 201511 yr Author Thank you !!! Is is possible to add to handbrake watch folder capability (input and output)? Maybe there is a way to trigger action with script and cron job? I added output mapping to the template. i'm not sure about handbrake watch folder, do you have more info ?
May 2, 201511 yr Sorry, I was not clear with my request. Currently converting files requires user interaction. That means you need to select input file, add it to queue and press start. I was hoping that this process could be automated. That means when some file is copied to certain folder, it triggers handbrake action (convert file). Or conversion can be initiated by shell script that is run from cron (scan folder, add to queue and start process). This would be very helpful when you copying wtv files from HTPC to unRaid for further processing. Some Windows applications use watchFolders method, it should be possible under Linux. It would be a killer app.
