sparklyballs
I came to unraid sometime around about 5.0.1 ish and saw a few changes with the first hints of virtualisation (albeit with unraid as a guest), i remember getting excited about the possibility of unraid actually becoming the host for VMs because it would free up controllers for me. But then it's become so much more with the explosion of dockers and the super easy implementation of VM's via the webui. Link to comment

ysss
+1 Came around the time v4.0 final was launched… My current 'array' is still the same one I created around that time… although the drives have all been changed out by now (and added in qty)… and gone through 3 case changes.. 5 motherboard/cpu changes… Link to comment
CHBMB
Couldn't agree more, I'm using mine for more and more applications, greatly helped by the local lunatic on the forum who has turned creating docker containers into an almost religious like order by which to live his life lol. Link to comment
interwebtech
started mid v4s... all I wanted was mass storage (with a decidedly green footprint) for BRD rips to play on my TV. Now its the heart & core of a multimedia ecosystem serving users as close as the next room and as far away as halfway around the globe. Who'da thunk it?. Link to comment
