Marvell disk controller chipsets and virtualization

I've got 3 marvell controllers now in my 26 drive system and after I put small fans on chips they have been fine.

I first did this fix in april by the looks of my post and they haven't skipped a beat since.

See I had no issues at my old place, temporarily moved to farthers house and had no end of issues, I assumed drives were dieing cause of the move. Turned out that the power was a bit dirty and causing the power supply to introduce bad power to controller and therefore cause the issues. I fixed it by replacing the psu with a 1000w platinum one.

"append  iommu=pt  initrd=/bzroot" - not works for me.

I have Marvell 9123, builded in Asus p6x58d premium Motherboard

Disable IOMMU or buy an LSI based controller

yeah, good advice, but my controloler works everywhere exept of unraid... ofcourse i can spend more money (LSI costs 10 times more than my unraid-server) and buy another controller, but i would like to use mine.
So I thought exist some better solution, like patch unraid or update Marwell firmware etc

And how can i disable IOMMU? I dont need unraid without IOMMU, it could be very useless

Starting with v6.10.3 this is enabled by default, so no need to add it.

As far as I know this problem is not specific to Unraid but can occur with any Linux based system that is using one of the latest kernels.
