July 17, 20169 yr A side note however is that the 5015 will not give you the JBOD support needed to use it on unraid. According to this post, it says the m1015 is compatible with unraid. Do you mean that unraid recognized the card but won't act like an HBA? https://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Hardware_Compatibility#PCI_SATA_Controllers
July 17, 20169 yr Author You posting in a thread for the M5015. If you have the M1015 then it's all good and unRAID will thank you for it [emoji18]. However posting about the card you actually have always helps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's on the right side.

July 19, 20169 yr Does the M1015 support 8TB HDDs? Sent from my SM-J710GN using Tapatalk I would be surprised if any controller that supports drives > 2.2TB wouldn't support any drive capacity produced for the foreseeable future.

Ill post up a easy step by step for when someone else comes across the problem of not being able to get into shell soon. just quick for you, on most uefi motherboards you can enable CSM to auto ish and then do an F8 boot 'ASUS boards' F11/12 most others and the UEFI options should show in the boot list, this is the easiest way to boot a UEFI bootable USB/Disk
